PALLIATIVE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

A Palliative Orientation Programme was successfully held at D.U.A. College, Vazhakkad on 21 January 2026. The programme was jointly organized by SIP and NSS Unit (60) in collaboration with Vazhakkad Palliative Clinic to create awareness among students about the importance of palliative care.

The session featured an inspiring talk by Mrs. Sunitha, Senior Nurse, Vazhakkad Palliative Care, highlighting compassionate care and social responsibility. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Muhammed Basheer K., Vice Principal, and presided over by Mr. Abdusalam P. C., SIP Coordinator.

The event also included the handover of the palliative fund collected from students and teachers. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Lukmanul Hakeem, Union Chairman.
