In Loving Memory of Teacher Sophia Allwyn D'mello
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teacher Sophia Allwyn D'mello on the 10th of August, 2024. She was a cherished member of the VVEHS community, where she devoted over 30 years to educating and inspiring students.
Throughout her career, she was known for her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the growth and success of every student.
Beloved by students and colleagues alike, Teacher Sophia left an indelible mark on the lives of many. Her lessons extended beyond the classroom, teaching the values of integrity and fairness. Known for her strictness, she was nonetheless one of the most cherished and favorite teachers at the school.
She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will surely live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A great loss for the VVEHS family.
Koya Sir was a force to be reckoned with off the ground and on ground. We were blessed to have him as a guiding force for our young stalwarts.
He was our football coach, but to many of our kids he was a life coach, no matter what trouble you went with, he would help and guide them beyond his capabilities.
A coach, a mentor, a guide, a true sports persona and a gem of a person, you will be missed dearly Koya Sir.
At such a time let us uphold him and his family in prayer and also pray for the speedy recovery of his family and his son who is an ex- student of ours.
May the Almighty rest his noble soul in peace and strengthen his family in this time of their grief.
Love and Prayer

“Maybe each human being lives in a unique world, a private world different from those inhabited and experienced by all other humans. . . If reality differs from person to person, can we speak of reality singular, or shouldn't we really be talking about plural realities? And if there are plural realities, are some more true (more real) than others? What about the world of a schizophrenic? Maybe it's as real as our world. Maybe we cannot say that we are in touch with reality and he is not, but should instead say, His reality is so different from ours that he can't explain his to us, and we can't explain ours to him. The problem, then, is that if subjective worlds are experienced too differently, there occurs a breakdown in communication ... and there is the real illness.”
