Independence Day 2026 Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at Jeevandeep Public School, Varanasi

Jeevandeep Public School, Varanasi, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of the nation with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and excitement. The gracious presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh, Chairperson Jeevandeep Group of Educational Institution and Dr. Anshu Singh, Vice Chairperson added grandeur to the occasion.

The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the dignitaries, followed by the National Anthem and Vande Mataram. The school campus was filled with patriotic slogans, the vibrant colours of the Tricolour, and the enthusiasm of the students.

The students highlighted the significance of Independence Day through cultural performances, and various captivating presentations. Their performances beautifully reflected their love for the nation, national unity, the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and their sense of duty towards the country.

In his address, Chief Guest Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh inspired the students to understand the true meaning of freedom and to play a positive role in the development of the nation. He emphasised that discipline, education, values, and patriotism among the younger generation are essential for the progress of the country.

Dr. Anshu Singh and Dr. Mamta Singh , Principal, Jeevandeep Public School also encouraged the students and extended their warm wishes on Independence Day, and wished them a bright and successful future.

The school family expressed its sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, teachers, students, and parents for their presence and support. The programme concluded with a pledge to uphold the unity, integrity, and progress of the nation. A large number of students along with all the officials, teachers, and staff members of the Jeevandeep Group of Educational Institution were present on the occasion.

Empowering Young Minds | Workshop on "Handling Emotions and Building Confidence"

Jeevandeep Public School, Varanasi proudly organized an inspiring workshop on **"Handling Emotions and Building Confidence"** for the enthusiastic learners of **Classes III to V**.

The workshop was organized by the **Social Science Department** and was conducted by our esteemed resource persons, **Ms. Rashmi Rai Ma'am** and **Ms. Priti Adhikari Ma'am**.

The interactive session provided our young learners with valuable insights into understanding and managing their emotions, developing self-confidence, and cultivating a positive outlook towards learning and life. Through engaging activities,role play and fun-filled exercises, students explored the importance of emotional well-being, self-expression, resilience, and the power of believing in themselves.

The enthusiasm, active participation, and radiant smiles of the students reflected the success of the workshop. It was truly heartening to witness our children embracing these essential life skills with confidence and joy.

A Powerful Presentation on Courage, Patriotism & Justice 🇮🇳

Our students presented an insightful presentation on Mr. Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian national whose case became a significant matter of India–Pakistan relations. He was detained by Pakistan in 2016, and India challenged his conviction and sentence before the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The ICJ, in 2019, ruled in favour of India on important consular-access and review-related issues.

The students presented the case with confidence and clarity, making the presentation informative and thought-provoking. Their efforts were beautifully guided by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Mrs. Nidhi Singh, and Mrs. Pooja Chaurasia.

The Principal congratulated the students for their excellent presentation and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Social Science Department in encouraging students to explore important national and international issues.
