Serving, Learning, Transforming: A Journey Beyond 7 Days 🌟
From 21–27 March 2026, the NSS camp at Malviya Child Welfare Foundation became more than just a schedule of activities—it turned into a meaningful journey of service, awareness, and human connection 🤝
Day 1: The camp began on a heartwarming note as NSS volunteers met the enthusiastic children of MCWF. Their joyful village tour and an engaging library interaction created an instant bond of trust and learning 📚
Day 2: A cleanliness drive at Panchayat Bhavan, Seer Gate reflected our commitment to community service. On the occasion of World Water Conservation Day, we also spread awareness about saving water and sustainable practices 💧🌱
Day 3: Through a detailed household survey, we explored real-life challenges related to education, hygiene, and vaccination—gaining deep insights into ground realities .
Day 4: Creativity and awareness merged through a poster-making competition on social issues. Volunteers also conducted interactive teaching sessions, nurturing young minds 🎨✏️
Day 5: The presence of respected professors made the day truly inspiring. Their experiences motivated us, while an ice-breaking session strengthened our teamwork 🙌
Day 6: A cycle rally promoting a pollution-free environment and Clean India spread a powerful message. A peaceful Gurudwara visit and meaningful discussions with villagers added depth 🚴♂️🌍
Day 7: The camp concluded on a powerful note. Our chief guest, UP Singh Sir (Director, IAS BHU), inspired us and distributed books. A nukkad natak on drug-free India and slogans on women empowerment delivered strong social messages 📢
We express our heartfelt gratitude to NSS Program Officer Dr. Sarvesh Kumar Sir and respected teachers—Sunil Meena Sir, Raksh*t Sir, Kalyan Gadhei Sir, PK Sharma Sir, PK Singh Sir, and MK Singh Sir —for their constant support 🙏
A special appreciation to all NSS volunteers and the MCWF Volunteers and kids whose energy made this camp unforgettable ❤️
These 7 days were not just about activities—they built empathy, responsibility, and a spirit to serve society.

🌈 When Little Dreams Took the Big Stage 🌈
On 2nd February 2026, our MCWF kids stepped onto the stage at SRISHTI 2026, the cultural fest of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, BHU, carrying courage in their hearts and dreams in their eyes. What followed was more than a performance—it was a moment of transformation. Through music, movement, and expression, our children discovered confidence, teamwork, and the joy of being seen and celebrated. 🎭✨
This milestone was made possible by unwavering dedication and teamwork. Heartfelt appreciation to our MCWF Volunteers Kumari Jha and Sharma for their outstanding coordination and leadership.
Special applause to Dikshu Sharma, who not only managed multiple performances in a limited time but also beautifully choreographed the acts, inspiring the children with creativity, patience, and passion. 🌻👏
Most importantly, this experience planted seeds of confidence and self-belief that our children will carry for a lifetime.
A big thank you to the SRISHTI team
for opening this big stage to little dreams and creating memories that will last forever. 💚✨

The Malviya Child Welfare Foundation celebrated Republic Day with a vibrant and inspiring event. 🇮🇳
The ceremony was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Sarvesh Kumar, Associate Professor from the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, alongside our dedicated alumni volunteer, Dr. Arun Kumar Deshmukh, Assistant Professor from the Institute of Management Studies.
The programe commenced with a solemn flag hoisting 🇮🇳, followed by a wonderful array of cultural performances by the children, including patriotic songs and dances . A mini skit 🎭 on constitutional rights and duties was a major highlight, beautifully enacted by the children.
The event also served as a platform for recognition. A special felicitation was held for our committed volunteer, Ms. Shreya Singh 🏅, and prizes were distributed to the winners of the poster making competition 🎨.
The celebration was a perfect blend of patriotism, talent, and community spirit, leaving everyone feeling proud and motivated. ✨

This October, record-breaking rains submerged our Varanasi library, destroying 300+ kg of books and months of children’s creativity. We cleaned, repainted, and reopened—but our shelves are still half-empty.
⭐️Now, we have partnered with Donate-a-Book and we’re on a mission to rebuild. With your support, we can restock our multilingual collection and bring back the magic of reading to hundreds of children.
Donate to our crowdfunding fundraiser on Donate-a-Book, a crowdfunding platform where even just Rs. 85 can help make a difference.💛
Help us achieve our goal of crowdfunding 150 storybooks for children in Varanasi. Any amount, big or small, takes us closer towards achieving our goal. 🎯
