Mechanical Engineering Society, IIT (BHU) organized its first industrial tour to Diesel Locomotive Works(DLW), Varanasi on November 8th for first-year students of Department of Mechanical Engineering. Diesel Locomotive Works(DLW), Varanasi is the largest Diesel-Electric locomotive manufacturer in India well known for being a world-class manufacturer of reliable, cost-effective and state of the art locomotives. This tour was organized to provide the students with an early exposure to the meticulous affairs of the mechanical industry. Under the guidance of Dr. Amitesh Kumar, students witnessed various manufacturing processes which gave them a hands-on experience of the industry.

This Diwali, let's take a break from our hasty, tied-up life to celebrate the day with the people around us. Let us vow to fill the life of everyone around us with joy, love, smile and memories.
