Mr. Varen Gupta brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the dynamic world of data science and analytics at *Majid Al Futtaim*—a leading conglomerate based in the UAE with operations across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia—he leads impactful data initiatives within a company renowned for its excellence in retail, real estate, and entertainment. Majid Al Futtaim owns and operates prominent brands such as Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, and Mall of the Emirates, playing a pivotal role in shaping consumer experiences through data-driven innovation.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Gupta held prominent positions at dunnhumby, a global leader in customer data science. He served as a Lead Data Scientist and later as a Senior Applied Data Scientist, where he worked on cutting-edge analytics solutions for global clients, transforming data into actionable customer insights.
His academic foundation is equally distinguished. Mr. Gupta holds an *M.Sc. in Statistics from the prestigious Hindu College, University of Delhi*, and *B.Sc. in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University*—both institutions known for producing thought leaders and innovators. His early research experience includes a role as a *Research Intern at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad,* where he contributed to high-impact analytical research.
