NCC Firing Practice at 89 UP Battalion NCC, BHU

The NCC cadets of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School participated in a firing practice session at 89 UP Battalion NCC located at Banaras Hindu University. During the session, the cadets learned various aspects of weapon training and firing techniques under proper supervision and safety measures.

The cadets were introduced to the use of the .22 rifle and gained practical experience in handling the weapon confidently and responsibly. They learned different firing positions such as prone, kneeling, and standing positions along with the correct steps involved in firing.

The training also included important concepts like grouping, zeroing, firing commands, loading and unloading procedures, and range discipline. Special emphasis was given to firing range safety precautions and the importance of maintaining alertness and discipline while handling weapons.

The session proved to be highly informative and enriching for the cadets, enhancing their confidence, concentration, coordination, discipline, and understanding of basic military training procedures. The activity provided valuable exposure to real firing range practices and strengthened the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and patriotism among the cadets.
