*तिब्बती संस्थान में शिव प्रसाद सिंह स्मृति संगोष्ठी का आयोजन*
वाराणसी। केंद्रीय उच्च तिब्बती शिक्षा संस्थान के नालंदा भवन के सभागार में आज कथाकार शिव प्रसाद सिंह स्मृति संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए तिब्बती संस्थान के कुलपति प्रो.डब्लू. डी. नेगी ने कहा कि साहित्य का मुख्य उद्देश्य होता है मनुष्यता को स्थापित करना, संवेदना को स्थापित करना। शिव प्रसाद सिंह के साहित्य में ग्रामीण अंचल की जो झलक मिलती है वह कथाकार प्रेमचंद का स्मरण कराती है।
मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में नागरी प्रचारिणी सभा के प्रधानमंत्री श्री व्योमकेश शुक्ल ने कहा शिव प्रसाद सिंह ने अपनी रचनाओं के नायक अपने ही समाज से चुने थे। उन्होंने कहा कि डॉ शिव प्रसाद सिंह आज के लेखक हैं।नागरी प्रचारिणी सभा के नियमन को सही ढंग से चलने के लिए जो ज्ञापन तैयार किया गया था उसको रूप देने वाले डॉ .शिव प्रसाद सिंह जी ही थे।
मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व प्रोफेसर ओम प्रकाश सिंह ने कहा कि डॉ.शिव प्रसाद सिंह केवल कथाकार ही नहीं थे वरन एक बड़े मनुष्य एवं सामाजिक चिंतक भी थे।आजादी के बाद के हिंदुस्तान को समग्रता में एक साथ देखना हो तो उनके उपन्यास अलग-अलग बैतरणी से बेहतर कोई माध्यम हो ही नहीं सकता है। उनके अन्य उपन्यास नीला-चांद और वैश्वानर अपने सामयिक जीवन को पूरी तरह प्रेषित करता है।
मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में प्राख्यात साहित्यकार प्रो. राम सुधार सिंह ने कहा कि शिव प्रसाद सिंह आध्यात्मिक एवं सामाजिक चिंतक और रचनाकार हैं। बड़ा साहित्यकार होने के लिए बड़ा मनुष्य होना जरूरी है। डॉ. शिव प्रसाद सिंह ने जीवन भर अपने तमाम विरोधों से टकराते हुए साहित्य की रचना की।
प्रोफेसर श्रद्धानंद ने कहा कि जिस साहित्यकार में जितनी समग्रता हो सकती है वह उतना ही बड़ा रचनाकार होता है, इस लिहाज से डॉ. शिव प्रसाद सिंह समग्रता के रचनाकार हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जो रचनाकार प्रेम के तरंगों में डूबता है वह समस्त रूप में व्यक्त होता है। इसीलिए डॉ. शिव प्रसाद सिंह का शोध- प्रबंध "सूर पूर्व ब्रजभाषा और साहित्य" हिंदी साहित्य में अप्रतिम है। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ.ज्योति सिंह ने, स्वागत अनुराग त्रिपाठी ने और धन्यवाद ज्ञापन संस्थान के मीडिया प्रभारी डॉ. सुशील कुमार सिंह ने किया। कार्यक्रम का संयोजन प्रोफेसर उमेश प्रसाद सिंह ने किया। इस अवसर पर डॉ. अभिजीत गुप्ता, डॉ. अनिल गुप्ता, डॉ. किशन शुक्ला,अमित सहित छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे।

🇮🇳 Celebrating 80 Years of Freedom at CIHTS, Sarnath! 🕊️

Today, the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (CIHTS) celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense patriotic fervor, unity, and joy. The entire campus community gathered in the open area in front of the iconic Shantaraksh*ta Library to honor the nation's milestone.

Flag Hoisting & Visionary Address:

The program commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. In his moving speech, he reminded us of India's hard-earned independence and deeply explored the Indian Knowledge System, highlighting the profound Buddhist thought of peace and freedom.

* A Sacred Global Responsibility: The Vice Chancellor further emphasized that the Buddhism born in India has uniquely flourished across numerous other countries, integrating deeply into their local cultures. Given this rich history, he noted that our institution and its dedicated members hold a massive responsibility to safeguard its founding objectives and motto—a duty that inherently serves as a vital service to the nation.

* The Tricolor & Ashoka Chakra Symbolism: He beautifully detailed the civilizational values within our flag:

A Historic Milestone in Academic & Research Collaboration!
We are thrilled to announce that the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (CIHTS), Sarnath, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
The landmark signing ceremony took place yesterday, 12 August 2026, at 4:00 PM in the Committee Room of the Vice-Chancellor's Office. The ceremony was chaired by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of CIHTS, Prof. Wangchuk Dorjee Negi, alongside Prof. Dr. N.J Muthukumar, Director General of CCRS.
This strategic partnership will foster academic exchanges and collaborative research in shared areas of traditional medicine and science. Key academic faculty from the Department of Sowa Rigpa and senior administrative teams from both institutions were present to commemorate the occasion. This collaboration opens a vibrant new chapter for integrating traditional healing systems like Sowa Rigpa and Siddha into modern clinical and research frameworks.

Today, on 10th August 2026, His Eminence the Ponlop Rinpoche of Menri Monastery and Geshe Ngawang Sonam arrived at CIHTS to serve as viva voce examiners. They engaged in a very robust question-and-answer session with the PhD scholars.

Our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wangchuk Dorjee Negi, and other scholars of the Institute also generously provided invaluable feedback and insights. Many young scholars who are completing their PhDs also took part in the program with strong academic rigor and passion.

प्राच्य एवं आधुनिक भाषा विभाग, केन्द्रीय उच्च तिब्बती शिक्षा संस्थान, सारनाथ, वाराणसी के तत्त्वावधान में दिनांक 07.08.2026 को माननीय कुलपति महोदय की अध्यक्षता में "मानवीय संवेदना का संकट और साहित्य की विरासत" विषय पर एक विशिष्ट व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया गया। उक्त कार्यक्रम में मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में प्रो. दिनेश कुशवाहा जी ने सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि "साहित्य ही चेतना का वह अंतिम संबल है जो हमारी क्षीण होती सहसंवेदना को पुनर्जीवित करने का उत्तरदायित्व वहन करता है। यांत्रिक प्रगति और संवेदनशून्यता के तिमिर में जब निजता का संकुचित आवरण भ्रातृभाव पर हावी होने लगे, तब साहित्य अपनी कालजयी विरासत के माध्यम से मर्माहत अंतःकरण पर करुणा, सहानुभूति और आत्मीयता का लेप लगाता है। साहित्य की यह महनीय परंपरा केवल शब्दों का लालित्य मात्र नहीं, अपितु युगों-युगों से संचित मानवीय वेदना, उल्लास और संघर्ष की अमर अभिव्यक्ति है। डॉ राम सुधार सिंह ने अपने विद्वत्तापूर्ण व्याख्यान में आज के संदर्भ में मानवीय संवेदनाओं पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए साहित्यकारों को उक्त के निवारण संबंधी रचनाएँ लिखने एवं समाज को प्रेरित करने के दायित्व पर बल देते हुए सामयिक समस्याओं पर विचार व्यक्त किए।

उक्त कार्यक्रम में अध्यक्षीय संबोधन देते हुए संस्थान के कुलपति प्रो. वांगचुग दोरजे नेगी ने बहुत ही महत्त्वपूर्ण उद्बोधन दिया एवं कहा कि "बौद्ध दर्शन में 'प्रतीत्यसमुत्पाद' एक प्रमुख अवधारणा है'। यह दर्शन हमें यह मूलभूत सत्य सिखाता है कि संसार की कोई भी घटना या वस्तु स्वतंत्र रूप से अस्तित्व में नहीं रहती, बल्कि सभी घटनाएं कार्य-कारण के नियम के तहत एक-दूसरे पर निर्भर होकर ही उत्पन्न होती हैं। आज समाज अहंभाव को महत्त्व देता है, जबकि यदि व्यक्ति ऋणीभाव में रहे तो समाज में समरसता की स्थिति उत्पन्न होगी।संस्थान की कुलसचिव डॉ सुनीता चंद्रा ने मुख्य अतिथि का अंगवस्त्र एवं स्मृति चिह्न प्रदान कर स्वागत किया |
