On January 26th, our school celebrated the 74th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The day began with a special assembly, where students and teachers gathered to pay tribute to the nation.

The ceremony started with the hoisting of the national flag by our principal, followed by a rendition of the national anthem. Students from various classes presented patriotic songs, dances, and speeches, showcasing their love and respect for the country.

The highlight of the event was a colorful parade, where students marched in unison, carrying flags and banners. The school's band played patriotic tunes, adding to the festive atmosphere.

To commemorate the occasion, a special cultural program was organized, featuring performances by students, including a play on the significance of Republic Day.

The celebration concluded with a speech by our principal, emphasizing the importance of upholding the values of democracy, equality, and justice, as enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The students were encouraged to become responsible citizens and contribute to the nation's growth and development.

Overall, the Republic Day celebration at our school was a grand success, fostering a sense of patriotism, unity, and national pride among students and staff alike.

A Day of Discovery in Varanasi

Our school trip to Varanasi's Sarvodhya Maha Mandir and New Museum was an unforgettable experience. As we stepped off the bus, the excitement was palpable. Our group of students, accompanied by our teachers, was eager to explore these iconic landmarks.

First, we visited the Sarvodhya Maha Mandir, a beautiful temple that embodies the spirit of unity and harmony. As we walked through the temple complex, we were struck by the stunning architecture and intricate carvings. Our guide shared stories about the temple's history and significance, deepening our understanding and appreciation of this sacred site.

Next, we headed to the New Museum, which proved to be a treasure trove of knowledge and discovery. The museum's vast collection of artifacts, artworks, and exhibits showcased the rich cultural heritage of Varanasi and India. We spent hours exploring the galleries, marveling at the ancient relics, and learning about the city's fascinating history.

Throughout the day, our teachers encouraged us to ask questions, think critically, and reflect on our experiences. We also had the opportunity to interact with local artisans and craftsmen, gaining insights into their traditional practices and techniques.

As we boarded the bus to return to school, we were all beaming with excitement and exhaustion. Our trip to Sarvodhya Maha Mandir and the New Museum had been an incredible adventure, one that had broadened our horizons, deepened our understanding of our cultural heritage, and created lifelong memories.

Our Christmas celebration was a huge success! The students had an absolute blast decorating the tree, making ornaments, and enjoying the holiday-themed assembly.

The Secret Santa gift exchange was a highlight, with everyone thrilled to receive their surprise presents. And, of course, Santa’s visit was the icing on the cake!

The school is now filled with the joyful spirit of the season, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year. A huge thank you to our amazing students, teachers, and staff for making this Christmas celebration one to remember!”

In this engaging and hands-on session, our young learners will get to prepare and create their own yummy dishes using a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy ingredients.

From making fruit salads to creating veggie wraps, our pre-primary students will learn about different textures, colors, and tastes while developing their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

This activity promises to be a fun and educational experience, fostering teamwork, creativity, and healthy eating habits in our young students.

So, let’s get cooking (without the fire, of course!) and make some unforgettable memories!

This partnership has given birth to a unique Waste Management class, where our students learn to creatively repurpose everyday waste into beautiful, eco-friendly decorative items for the home.

This innovative initiative aims to instill environmental awareness, creativity, and resourcefulness among our young minds. By combining Pidilite’s expertise with our academic rigor, we’re providing our students with a holistic learning experience that extends beyond the classroom.

Through this program, our students will not only develop their artistic skills but also become more conscious of their role in reducing waste and promoting sustainability. We’re excited to see our students’ imagination and skills flourish with Pidilite’s support and guidance!

On Children's Day, Salwan Academy transformed into a vibrant fiesta!
The morning began with a colorful procession, followed by a cultural extravaganza. Students showcased their talents through songs, dances, skits, and plays. Art and craft exhibitions displayed their creativity. Exciting games and sports events filled the air with laughter. Teachers distributed prizes and rewards to deserving students.
A special assembly highlighted Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's vision for children's education. The day concluded with a grand finale of music, dance, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories. Joy, laughter, and smiles filled every corner of the school.
