Yesterday, I was searching about how much time someone takes to learn something new. Then I found the research work of Josh Kaufman about 20-hr-learning.
In his research, he got to know it takes only 20 hours to know something good enough; it is either playing the guitar or learning a new language. Knowing enough means, you can start bringing out in that thing also you can self-correct in that area of expertise.
You might have noticed key things always repeats, i.e. some notes in music, some steps in dance and significant words in the language
In 20-hr learning, we only need to focus on essential things and practice it for 20 hr.
Is it so simple just reading continuously for 20 hr?
No, actually to invest 20 hr appropriately we need to have some points to focus
1. Decide the goal and break it in several parts
2. Collect all the essential thing required to start pursuing, i.e. Laptop for coding
3. Distance yourself from all distraction, i.e. social media, TV
4. Learn enough to start practice
5. Break your 20hr time in the section and practice it with full focus.
I have tried this 20-hr learning technique to learn Git-lab, git, ubuntu and markdown language.
It pretty much worked for me.
You also may try it and learn new things.
Thank you
