Highlights of the placement of the current batch 2018 - 2020 (Provisional) :-
Campus placement drive for 2019-20 at Institute of Management Studies (FMS) Banaras Hindu University, has beaten the institute’s own past records with the highest package ranging up to Rs. 18 lakh per annum recording 50% increase over the last year and the average package has also gone up to Rs. 8.4 LPA from Rs. 7.2 LPA. Over two dozen companies participated in the placement drive this year which include companies like IBM Ltd., Infosys, Wipro, Genpact, DHL, SBI Life Insurance, L&T Financial Services, MakeMyTrip, CafeCoffeeDay, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, Ujjivan SFB, Berger Paints, Writer’s Corporation, Suryodaya SFB, Prism Cement, IFFCO Kisan, Banaras Dairy, VNR Seeds Ltd., ADM Agro and many more, thus ensuring the placement of more than 90% of the batch with the process still in progress.

Candidates are required to appear in Common Admission Test(CAT) 2019 and also apply separately in the institute.The institute uses CAT scores for short-listing candidates for its above Post-Graduate programs in Management which is followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds for final selection.
