DISABILITY AWARENESS RALLY & WORLD DISABILITY DAY PROGRAMME

1. Disability Awareness Rally
Parivartan Institute for Differently Abled successfully organized a Disability Awareness Rally on 03 December 2025, in collaboration with Popular College of Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Bachchaw. The rally commenced at 9:00 AM from the campus of the Popular College of Nursing and Paramedical Institute and proceeded towards Bachchao Bazar.
The rally was inaugurated with the flag-off ceremony by
Prof. (Dr.) Sudhakar A., Academic Dean (PIMF & SVS).
He was accompanied by all teachers, staff members, and students from both institutions.
Throughout the rally, all children participated with great enthusiasm and energy, carrying banners and raising slogans to spread awareness about disability rights, inclusion, and social responsibility.
2. Cultural Program at MPH Hall
Following the rally, a cultural program was organized at the MPH Hall of Parivartan Institute.

Introduction
The program began with an introductory address by
Mrs. Chandrakala Rawat (Special Educator), who highlighted the significance of World Disability Day 2025 and the importance of spreading awareness about the needs and rights of persons with disabilities.
Welcome Address
A warm welcome to all guests and participants was extended by
Mr. Shailendra Kumar Maurya (Course Coordinator).

Guest of Honor
The Chief Guest of the program was
Dr. Kishor H. Mane
Assistant Professor, Special Education, Banaras Hindu University.

Theme Unfolding & Address
The theme for World Disability Day 2025 was formally unfolded and addressed by
Prof. (Dr.) Sudhakar A. (Academic Dean, PIMF & SVS).
He emphasized the role and responsibilities of society, educators, and institutions in supporting Children With Special Needs (CWSN). He highlighted what individuals and communities must do to ensure inclusion and equal opportunities for differently-abled children.

• Dr. Kiran Kaushik, Managing Director, PIMF, SVS & PMC
Both dignitaries shared their thoughts on building an inclusive environment and supporting special children through education and community participation.
3. Keynote Speech
The keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Kishor H. Mane, who spoke eloquently on topics such as:
• Importance of World Disability Day
• Disability awareness and inclusion
• Government schemes and rights of persons with disabilities
• Support systems for special children
His enlightening speech motivated all participants to contribute meaningfully to the empowerment of differently-abled individuals.
4. Cultural Performances
The cultural segment included:
• A delightful dance performance by Special School students of Parivartan Institute.
• An energetic group dance by IDD students of Parivartan Institute.
These performances showcased the talents and confidence of the children, receiving applause and admiration from the audience.

5. Group Photo & Certificate Distribution
A group photo session was followed by the certificate distribution ceremony. Certificates were presented by:

• Prof. (Dr.) Sudhakar A.
• Mr. Shailendra Kumar Maurya
• Mr. S.D. Sir (Magician)
Their presence encouraged the students and added value to the event.

6. Vote of Thanks
The formal Vote of Thanks was proposed by
Mrs. Chandrakala Rawat,
expressing gratitude to all guests, participants, faculty members, and students for their enthusiastic participation and support.
The program concluded with the National Anthem, marking the successful completion of the event.
7. Acknowledgement
Special appreciation to
Mrs. Sangeeta Pal – I and Mrs. Sangeeta Pal – II,
who actively participated throughout the program and provided continuous support to the special children.

A total of seventeen institutions proudly took part in the two-day Divya Kala Mela, organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities on 16 and 17 October. The event aimed to highlight the remarkable talents, abilities, and products created by persons with disabilities, along with contributions from various institutions. Hosted at the Chaukaghat Sanskritik Sankul, the mela drew a large number of visitors and played a powerful role in spreading awareness about inclusion and empowerment.
The program was honored by the presence of Mr. Ravindra Jaiswal, Hon’ble Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, who attended as the Chief Guest. His participation boosted the morale of everyone present and added special significance to the event, making it both inspiring and memorable.
Mrs. Chandrakala Rawat and Mrs. Sangeeta Pal-I (Special Educators) attended the fair along with hearing-impaired students Gaurav, Kishan, Chandani, and Himanshu. Their active participation showcased the students’ creativity and confidence. The students eagerly displayed their talents through different exhibits and activities, reflecting their hard work, enthusiasm, and potential.
In essence, the Divya Kala Mela held on 16 and 17 October proved to be a wonderful celebration of inclusion and empowerment. It provided a meaningful platform for students, educators, and institutions to come together, share their abilities, and appreciate the extraordinary skills of persons with disabilities.
