The ninth and final among the Navadurga (nine forms) aspects of the Hindu mother goddess Mahadevi. The meaning of her name is as follows: Siddhi means supernatural power or meditative ability, and Dhatri means giver or awarder.

The eighth form among the Navadurga aspects of the Hindu mother goddess Mahadevi. She is worshipped on the eighth day of Navaratri. According to Hinduism, Mahagauri has the power to fulfill all the desires of her devotees. 🙏🏻

Kalaratri (कालरात्रि) 💫

DAY 7 NAVRATRI



The most ferocious form of Maa Durga. She has a dark complexion, rides a donkey, wears a garland of skulls around her neck, and has four hands. Her right hands are in Abhaya (protecting) and Varada (blessing) Mudra, and she holds a sword and the deadly iron hook in her left hands.

Katyayani (कात्यायनी) 🪷

DAY 6 NAVRATRI


An aspect of Mahadevi and the slayer of the tyrannical demon Mahishasura. She is the sixth among the Navadurgas, the nine forms of Hindu goddess Durga who are worshipped during the festival of Navaratri. She is depicted with four, ten or eighteen hands.

The fifth among the Navadurga forms of Mahadevi. Her name comes from Skanda, an alternate name for the war god Kartikeya, and Mātā, meaning mother.

Day 4 NAVRATRI




The Hindu goddess, credited with creating the world with her divine smile. Followers of the Kalikula tradition believe her to be the fourth aspect in Navadurga forms of Mahadevi. Her name signals her main role: Ku means "a little", Ushma means "warmth" or "energy" and Anda means "cosmic egg".
