You don't have to be public school educated to be an impactful public speaker or presenter. In fact, very many of them are not.

Dr Manoj Dora's story is a remarkable one. Born in a poor village in Orissa where people often died of starvation, he dreamed of families launching small businesses to provide for their needs. Today he is an authority figure in sustainable food value chain and supply chain management and teaches at the Brunel University, London.

His fascinating story apart, Dr Manoj Dora's virtue as a speaker stems from his unhurried pace and his use of pauses, pauses that create anticipation, enhance comprehension and give the audience the time to reflect on his words. One of the many skills we cover in our Speech Intelligence Dynamics and we will help you acquire.

We now provide ONLINE COACHING ON SKYPE, one on one and in small groups. You need to write in to us at [email protected] attaching a brief CV and what you want to achieve out of the programme. And then if you so desire, we can then draw up your training schedule. You could also call 9910477226.

LEADERSHIP SPEAK
Words are like dormant emotions brought alive by how you say them. But it is important to get your words right, your construct, your punctuation right, to be able to deliver a certain feeling or emotion.

For instance:
'It is estimated that 86.4% of the currency in circulation has been demonetised' will demand a matter of fact delivery. But
'86.4%. That is the percentage of the currency that has been demonetised'
will dictate a more dramatic delivery and consequently deliver a more heightened emotional impact.

Or for instance say, you are opening a speech at an AGM meet and it has been a year of overcoming many hurdles and setbacks. You could begin by
It has been very tough year for all of us.
Or you also could say
It has been a tough year. Very tough.
Same words different impact.
Now change the word 'tough' to say 'harsh'.
Do you get the difference?
