4th Bharat CPSEs’ Consultative Conclave Inaugurated at GSV

The 4th Bharat CPSEs’ Consultative Conclave was inaugurated at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara, under Mission Karmayogi, with GSV as the Strategic Knowledge Partner.

The inaugural session featured addresses by Dr. Alka Mittal, Member (Administration), CBC; Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, PhD, Vice Chancellor, GSV; and Shri Anil Kumar Lahoti, Chairman, TRAI and Former Chairman, Railway Board, who delivered the Keynote Address.

The first day set the stage for deliberations on Excellence in Project and Asset Management, with discussions around PM Gati Shakti, ULIP, multimodal connectivity, technology-driven asset management and global best practices.

A key highlight was the pre-launch Joint Declaration on “Kshamta SANGAM”.

GSV to Host 4th Bharat CPSEs’ Consultative Conclave in Collaboration with CBC & DPE

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), as the Strategic Knowledge Partner, will host the 4th Edition of the Bharat CPSEs’ Consultative Conclave from 24–26 September 2026, in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and Department of Public Enterprises (DPE).

The three-day conclave will bring together 30+ officers from 15 CPSEs, subject matter experts, industry leaders, academia and government representatives for deliberations on Project and Asset Management under Mission Karmayogi.

Discussions will focus on PM Gati Shakti, ULIP, multimodal connectivity, technology-driven asset management, CapEx governance and global best practices, contributing to India’s infrastructure and capacity-building journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047.

GSV and Indian Army Training Command (ARTRAC) Explore Avenues for Strengthening Academic Collaboration

GSV held high-level deliberations with the HQ ARTRAC to explore avenues for strengthening academic and institutional collaboration.
Lt Gen Sukriti Dahiya, SM, VSM, Officiating General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, HQ ARTRAC, accompanied by Maj Gen Mohit Gandhi, Commandant, EME School, Baroda and team of officers visited Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya on 22 September 2026.

The discussions focused on identifying opportunities for faculty exchange, capacity-building programmes, academic engagement with Army institutions and knowledge sharing. The interaction also explored avenues for leveraging GSV’s expertise in logistics, transportation, PM GatiShakti and emerging technologies to support academic and professional development initiatives.

The deliberations underscored the potential for sustained collaboration between GSV and the Indian Army in areas of mutual interest, with a focus on strengthening knowledge exchange, building institutional capabilities and fostering innovation in logistics, transportation and technology-driven domains.

Tata Electronics & Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya Partner for Semiconductor Skilling

Tata Electronics and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a future-ready workforce for India’s evolving semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

The collaboration aims to bridge critical skill gaps by creating specialized academic curricula, joint certification programs, and industry-oriented skilling initiatives.

Through a multi-party partnership framework, Tata Electronics, alongside its partners L&T EduTech and Jacobs Solutions, will provide technical expertise to the university. The programs will focus on crucial areas like semiconductor facility engineering, infrastructure systems, project management, and logistics, ensuring students and professionals gain the practical skills needed to support India’s semiconductor infrastructure.

Celebrating Engineers, Innovation & Industry Partnerships | SAP Experience Day 2026

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) celebrated Engineers’ Day on 15 September 2026 with SAP Experience Day, showcasing the strong synergy between academia, industry, and emerging technologies.

Prof. Dr. Manoj Choudhary, PhD, Vice Chancellor of GSV, emphasised the transformative role of engineers in India’s technological journey and encouraged students to pursue continuous learning, innovation, and problem-solving.

Ms. Sindhu Gangadharan, MD of SAP Labs India & Head of Customer Industry Solutions, delivered a video keynote address. She highlighted the SAP–GSV partnership and its focus on employability readiness, curriculum enhancement, industry–academia linkages, and joint research.

Dr. Lovneesh Chanana, Senior Vice President & APAC Head of Government Affairs at SAP (joined through live video), spoke on SAP’s collaboration with GSV and the PM Gati Shakti vision.

Student teams presented logistics and supply chain case studies featuring live demos and proofs of concept. The team SAP-PredictiveOps secured first place, followed by Simplex and Sustain Miles. The winners received certificates from the Vice Chancellor.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Vipul Kumar Mishra, PhD, Associate Professor, followed by the distribution of mementos to the SAP team.

GSV Concludes Strategic Management Programme-II for Indian Railways SAG Officers

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) successfully concluded the One-Week Strategic Management Programme-II for Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) Officers of Indian Railways, held from 7th to 11th September 2026, bringing together 10 senior officers for a focused learning and development experience.

The programme provided opportunities for strategic learning, professional enrichment, knowledge sharing and gaining practical insights, supporting participants in strengthening their perspectives and professional effectiveness.

At the valedictory session, Prof. Pradeep Kumar Garg, Dean Executive & Continuing Education and Programme Director, emphasised the importance of continuous learning, self-introspection and maintaining balance across different dimensions of life.

GSV Concludes Executive Training Programme for IA&AS Officer Trainees

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) successfully concluded the Executive Training Programme for Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) Officer Trainees, Batch 2025, with 19 Officer Trainees participating in the three-day programme.

The valedictory session highlighted the importance of continuous learning, professional upskilling and critical thinking in the AI era. Prof. (Dr.) Jitesh J Thakkar, Dean Academics, encouraged the officers to embrace enthusiasm, proactiveness and a questioning mindset, emphasising that asking the right critical questions is essential for effective auditing and creating value for stakeholders. He also underlined the role of constructive feedback in continuously improving future training programmes.

Ms. Amitha A. J., Director, Training-II/Information Systems, NAAA, Shimla, appreciated GSV’s efforts in providing officers with a deeper understanding of the ground realities and emerging developments in multimodal transportation.

Dr. Venkat Chintala, Associate Dean (R&D) and Programme Director, thanked the participants and reaffirmed GSV’s commitment to delivering relevant, industry-oriented and need-based capacity-building programmes for government departments and PSUs. Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), commenced a three-day Executive Training Programme for Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) Officer Trainees, Batch 2025, with 19 Officer Trainees participating from 9–11 September 2026.

Welcoming the participants, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, PhD, Vice Chancellor, GSV, highlighted the University’s distinctive mandate in advancing education, research and capacity building in transport and logistics. He emphasised the importance of understanding India’s rapidly evolving infrastructure ecosystem, with a focus on integrated infrastructure planning under PM GatiShakti, timely project ex*****on, digitalisation, and minimising delays and cost overruns.

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara, commenced the Strategic Management Programme-II (SMP-II) for 10 Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) officers of Indian Railways, being conducted from September 7–11, 2026.

Prof. Pradeep Kumar Garg, Programme Director and Dean Executive and Continuing Education, highlighted GSV’s mandate to deliver customised executive programmes for government, PSUs and industry, integrating contemporary technologies with sector-specific learning.

Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, PhD, Vice-Chancellor, GSV, emphasised that leadership is the catalyst for transformation. He urged the officers to continuously update their knowledge, enabling them to respond effectively to the evolving needs and challenges of Indian Railways.
