GSV Partners with National Aerospace Laboratories to Strengthen Aviation Education and Research

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) has signed an MoU with CSIR–National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru, to advance aviation education, research, innovation, and capacity building. The collaboration will focus on joint curriculum development, advanced laboratories, faculty and student exchanges, and collaborative R&D projects. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to strengthening India’s civil aviation ecosystem, fostering indigenous technologies, and contributing to the vision of a self-reliant, Viksit Bharat.

Five-Day Executive Training Program on PM GatiShakti & National Logistics Policy for Indian Army Officers Concludes at GSV

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya successfully concluded a five-day on-campus Executive Training Program on the PM GatiShakti–National Master Plan and National Logistics Policy for 21 mid-level officers of the Indian Army.

In his valedictory address, Brigadier Ajay Sharma, Program Director, highlighted that the program carried two academic credits for Armed Forces officers for the first time. He stated that the officers were given hands-on experience in infrastructure project planning on the National Master Plan and assured them that their feedback and suggestions would be incorporated into future editions.

Registrar Shri Rajeev Kumar appreciated the officers’ active participation and reaffirmed GSV’s commitment to the continuous enhancement of such capacity-building initiatives.

Maj Gen Mohit Gandhi, Chief Guest of the valedictory session, emphasized that infrastructure and logistics are critical enablers of military preparedness. He underscored the role of railways, ports, and digital infrastructure in operational readiness and encouraged participants to engage in such knowledge-building programs to leverage the PM GatiShakti initiative.

The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Ram Krishna Upadhyay, Program Coordinator.

GSV Vice Chancellor Inaugurates CSIR-SERC’s Sustainable Recycled Concrete Demonstration Building

Adding another milestone to the celebrations of CSIR-SERC’s 61st Foundation Day, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), inaugurated the Sustainable Engineered Recycled Concrete (SERC) Demonstration Building at the CSIR-SERC campus, Chennai.

Developed under the CSIR Mission Mode Project ‘Waste to Wealth’, the facility showcases cutting-edge applications of recycled construction materials and sustainable engineering practices. The initiative reflects a strong commitment to circular economy principles, reduced carbon emissions, resource efficiency, and environmentally responsible infrastructure development for a greener future.

CSIR-SERC and GSV Join Hands to Drive Innovation in Railway Bridge and Structural Engineering

A landmark collaboration was formalized as CSIR–Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), Chennai, and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara, exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster joint research, innovation, consultancy, and capacity-building initiatives.

By leveraging their respective expertise, both institutions will work towards developing technology-driven solutions that enhance infrastructure resilience, strengthen railway bridge and structural engineering capabilities, and contribute to national development.

Pragati Path Yatra at GSV Celebrates 12 Years of Transformative Governance and India’s Development Momentum

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya proudly hosted the Pragati Path Yatra, commemorating 12 years of transformative governance and India’s remarkable development journey. Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor, highlighted the nation’s achievements in infrastructure, logistics, digital transformation, sustainability, and the vision of PM Gati Shakti for a Viksit Bharat.

Smt. Gitaben Makwana, Mayor of Vadodara, Shri Aditya Anantbhai Patel, Deputy Mayor of Vadodara, and Smt. Shvetaben Machhi, Leader of the Ruling Party, addressed the gathering and appreciated GSV’s significant contributions towards nation-building, skill development, and capacity enhancement.

GSV Launches Five Day Executive Training Program for Indian Army Officers

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) commenced a five-day Executive Training Program on the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan and National Logistics Policy for 21 officers of the Indian Army from 08–12 June 2026.

The program aims to enhance understanding of integrated infrastructure planning, multimodal logistics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP), and emerging technologies.

Brig. Ajay Sharma, Program Director, outlined the program objectives and its significance in aligning military strategies with national logistics initiatives.

Prof. (Dr.) Jitesh Thakkar, Dean Academics, emphasized the importance of technological synchronization and integrated logistics systems in enhancing defence preparedness.

Brig. J. K. Barua, Nodal Officer, PM Gati Shakti, DG-OL & SM, highlighted the Indian Army’s ongoing efforts to align logistics and infrastructure planning with PM Gati Shakti and the National Logistics Policy.

Prof. Pradeep Garg, Dean ECE, underscored the role of modern logistics systems in building resilient supply chains.

The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ram Krishna Upadhyay, Program Coordinator.
