*POCSO Awareness Program Organized at Chinmay International School*

A special awareness program on the POCSO Act was organized at Chinmay International School, located in Karjan Taluka of Vadodara district, with the objective of spreading awareness about child safety and children’s rights. The program was conducted by the school and was attended by distinguished guests from the legal fraternity.

The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Vishal Gadhvi (Secretary, District Legal Services Authority – DLSA, Vadodara District), Mr. Natubhai V. Parmar (Senior Advocate, Karjan Taluka Court), Mrs. Niruben V. Patel (Senior Advocate, Karjan Taluka Court), along with other officials from the Karjan Taluka Court, who honored the event with their participation.

Mr. Vishal Gadhvi addressed the students and provided information about the POCSO Act in a simple and clear manner. He explained issues related to protection against sexual offences involving children, legal rights, the procedure for filing complaints, and the importance of sharing accurate information without fear. He also advised students to inform a trusted person in case of any unusual or uncomfortable situation. Additionally, he elaborated on various important social issues relevant to students.

Through this program, efforts were made to enhance legal awareness among students and to convey a positive message to society regarding child safety. The awareness program organized by Chinmay International School was commendable and timely.
