Ansydesk CAD CAM

G16 in Fanuc Controller

G16 is a Polar Coordinate Command used in many Fanuc CNC controllers.
It tells the machine that upcoming movements will be programmed using polar coordinates instead of standard X-Y Cartesian coordinates.

G16 X(radius) Y(angle)
G15 (Cancel polar mode)

Example (PDC hole Ø100 mm, angle 45 and start angle 0)
