The PYP NISV family warmly welcomed Ganpati Bappa with joy and devotion. On 22/08/25, our young learners participated in a Ganpati Idol-Making activity in IHA, using eco-friendly materials. Through this creative celebration, they expressed their devotion while embracing the importance of sustainability.

Our IBCP students, the House Prefects from MYP and students from the CBSE section had the wonderful opportunity to attend “DISHA – A Direction for Youth”, an inspiring event organized by Gujarat Employers' Organisation at Sir Sayajirao Nagargruh, Akota, Vadodara on 22nd August, 2025.

We felt immense pride as Zeus Lalani, IB Head Boy, took the stage as one of the panelists. As the founder of Project Eklavya, he inspired the audience by sharing his entrepreneurial vision, experiences, and the impact of youth-led initiatives in creating meaningful change.

The session brought together motivational speakers and successful entrepreneurs who shared their journeys, challenges, and achievements in the world of business. Students gained valuable insights into how concepts from their Business Administration CRS and the IBCP Core including skill development, language and cultural awareness, and ways of giving back to the community connect with real-world entrepreneurial practices.

A truly empowering experience that encouraged our learners to dream big, think innovatively, and connect classroom knowledge with real-life applications. The participation of MYP prefects further highlighted how leadership skills and values nurtured in the MYP continuum align with the aspirations and opportunities explored in the IBCP journey.

Our little ones dressed in traditional attire celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and joy.
The children danced gracefully and beautifully enacted episodes from the life of Lord Krishna, filling the celebration with vibrance and happiness making the occasion truly memorable for everyone present.

Empowering Through Innovation

We are proud to share that Padmaja Gandhi of Grade 10 A IB has been awarded the prestigious Gold CREST Award for her outstanding contribution to science and innovation. The CREST Awards, a UK-based program, celebrate creativity and critical thinking in STEM through hands-on projects for young people aged 3 to 19. With six progressive award levels, CREST helps students develop real-world problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of STEM in action.

Padmaja earned the Gold level—CREST’s highest recognition—for designing a device aimed at enhancing the independence of visually impaired individuals. Her project not only showcases technical ingenuity but also demonstrates a deep commitment to social impact and inclusivity. Her project is a shining example of how innovation can be used as a tool for empowerment and positive change.

The recently concluded IB PYP workshop on Teaching &Learning for Conceptual Understanding was a truly enriching experience for all Pre-Primary & PYP teacher participants. The 2 day session provided valuable insights into how , deep & meaningful learning can be fostered through a concept driven approach. The interactive nature of of the workshop not only strengthened the participants’ understanding of PYP practices but also inspired the teachers to take back with them some amazing teaching and learning strategies that will empower students to make meaningful connections in their learning journey.

Navrachana International School, through its school counseling centre – Vivarta, hosted the US University Fair, bringing together leading universities under one roof.

Students from Grades 10–12 participated with great enthusiasm, exploring academic programs, admission requirements and pathways to higher education in the United States.
Parents too engaged actively, seeking valuable guidance on scholarships, applications and career prospects.

The event achieved its aim — empowering our students and families with first-hand, credible information to shape their global higher education journey. A few glimpses of the fair are shared below.

*Investigating the Power of Energy*-

As part of their inquiry into the concept of energy, the students of Grade 4 IB welcomed Mr. Harsh Badani, who shared his expertise through engaging, hands-on demonstrations. He brought along a working model to illustrate how energy transforms from one form to another, making abstract concepts tangible and easy to grasp.

Using simple tools such as bulbs and a ball, he guided students in exploring the interplay between kinetic and potential energy, as well as the conversion of chemical energy into thermal and light energy. These practical examples enabled students to connect classroom learning with real-world applications, sparking both curiosity and deeper understanding.

The session fostered not only scientific knowledge but also critical thinking and reflection, encouraging students to consider the role of energy in their everyday lives and the world around them.

Grade 5 IB students had an enriching experiential learning opportunity!
They visited CREMACH PRIVATE LIMITED, a company that manufactures machinery for animal feed, and Express Equipment Rental and Logistics Pvt. Ltd., where they explored the use of powerful cranes.

The students observed how complex machines are built and operated using simple machines, making work more efficient and effortless for humans. They also got hands-on experience with different types of simple machines—an experience that brought their classroom learning to life and will stay with them for years to come.

The General Body Meeting of Navrachana International School, held on 2nd August 2025, was a well-attended PTA-led event that saw enthusiastic participation from parents. The session commenced with a briefing on the annual account statement, followed by an inspiring address by Chairperson Ms. Tejal Amin. A key highlight was the insightful session by renowned developmental pediatrician Dr. Samir Dalwai on "A Recipe for Happy Parenting," which offered practical perspectives on positive parenting. This was followed by a compelling panel discussion on "Emotional Well-being," moderated by Ms. Ami Patel, featuring expert insights from Dr. Vikas Ponda (Psychiatrist), Dr. Manisha Patel (Pediatrician), and Ms. Suverchala Kashyap (Educationalist). The session fostered meaningful dialogue on parenting, mental health and holistic child development.

We are also excited to announce an exclusive upcoming podcast series for our students by Dr. Samir Dalwai, where he addresses some of the most pressing challenges students face today, offering them guidance, reassurance and expert support.
