St. Joseph's High School was founded by raw FR. Theodore Compos, S.J. in 1915. First the primary school started and in 1967 the high school began and the higher secondary in 2002

It is a christian minority school school run and managed by Jesuit father – members of a religious organization.It is situated at sardar nagar on chhani Road, Vadodara-Ahmedabad Highway. The management is St. joseph primary school trust, vadodara. It is a city based Gujarati medium school catering to the schildren of the working class and of the marginalised section of the society. However it also accomodates children of all sections of the society without any discrimination of cast and religion. It is a grant in aid school with only salary grant from the state govt (both the primary and high school). The higher secondary section is a self finance unit. The school has four sections Pre Primary, primary , High school, and Hr. secondary. The strength of the school is 1300 students and the staff is 40
