Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom: NESSS Marks the 80th Independence Day
The NESSS campus came alive with patriotic fervor as the school celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15th August. The ceremony commenced with the flag hoisting by the Chief Guest, Lt. Col. Anupam Dubey, Officer Commanding, Faculty of Vehicle Technology, EME School, followed by the stirring National Anthem and Flag Song, filling every heart with pride and patriotism.
Embracing the theme “Yuva Shakti for Viksit Bharat@2047,” the celebration highlighted the vital role of young India in shaping the nation’s future. A thought-provoking street play, “Sab Chalta Hai,” added vibrancy to the program. Chief Guest Lt. Col. Anupam Dubey urged students to embrace the three D’s—Direction, Determination, and Discipline—as guiding principles for achieving their goals and contributing to a stronger nation. Principal Mrs. Leena Nair further inspired students to value the freedom we cherish and play an active role in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation.
The preschoolers added their own charm to the Independence Day celebrations as their enthusiastic voices filled the air with inspiring patriotic slogans such as “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan” and “Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Main Tumhe Azadi Doonga.” Their spirited performance to the uplifting song “Hum Honge Kamyab” beautifully reflected hope, unity, and the indomitable spirit of young India.
The celebration concluded on a spirited note, leaving students with a renewed sense of patriotism and a powerful reminder that the youth of today are the nation-builders of tomorrow. With courage, purpose, and discipline, the young minds of NESSS pledged to carry forward the vision of a Viksit Bharat@2047.

🇮🇳 Walking the Path of Patriotism

Fifty enthusiastic New Eraites, accompanied by their PE educators, proudly participated in the grand 2-kilometre Tiranga Yatra held on 14th August 2026, ahead of Independence Day. Led by Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harsh Sanghavi, the yatra brought together thousands of citizens in a vibrant display of national pride while spreading a strong message of a drug-free future for the youth.

Marching with the Tricolour held high, our students embodied the spirit of unity, patriotism, and responsible citizenship, making their presence truly meaningful in this celebration of freedom.
