MURP Dialogue

Regional Planning lab at MSU culminated with the final jury with Dr. Anil Roy from cept ahmedabad and bhavana vimawala from s. c. e. t surat, it was great learning experience for us.

Urban dialogue is an platform for intra dimension debate among Murp Msu this was the 3rd of the events we organised among ourselves.

We were privileged to have prof. Chetan vaidya at MSU MURP today. We had a great session of thought provoking discussion on Rural and urban planning issues and complexities in contemporary Indian scenario.

It's an pleasure to write here regarding MSU at NOSPlan - Organisation of Students of Planning we have won 4 trophies in this year's annual convention of all the planning colleges in India.

Publics@MURP we are glad to have had a great discussion on urban inclusivity with prof. Chetan vaidya alumni to our own department he shared his work on urban inclusivity, specially how building a toilet can lead to larger cultural change for marginalized sections of the society..

It was a great experience to visit Rampura BSUP housing at Akota, discussed the issue of financing the urban poor housing with the stake holders. Primary aim was to understand the functioning of the urban poor housing developed under the government.

Visit to the Command control centre, Vadodara. Expert talk on fire safety, emergency services and making of Vadodara a smart city. Thanks to CFO (Central fire officer) and Mr. Om Jadeja for his valuable time and inputs.
