The Alternate Space is an idea, that aims to provide workshops, projects as a supplement to high school and university curriculum to enhance the learning process with the motive of creating a community of intellectually and emotionally aware individuals. These activities have been formulated to demonstrate the connection between what is being taught in the high school/university classes and how that information is applied in the industry today. Each activity consists of an objective and project guidelines. Students will be challenged to think in an innovative way by learning to use different methods such as research, hands-on executions, debates, and by meeting and interacting with other curious sociable and open-minded people in an atmosphere of exploration and enjoyment. The projects call for teamwork, which creates an environment that promotes and fosters personal growth. Moreover, on a professional level, younger students will be able to build upon their portfolios which might assist them in the near future.
