International Yoga Day Celebration
12th International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Bright Day School, CBSE, Vasna on 20th June 2026. The theme for this year was ‘Yoga for Healthy Ageing’ with emphasis on wellness, wisdom, and world peace.
All the students of Class VI and teachers assembled in the school assembly area at 7:30 a.m. De. The NCC students performed yoga in the Dance Hall. The session was conducted by our yoga teacher, Ms. Aarchi.
The assembly began with a thought and a sharing session on the importance of yoga in one’s life. This was followed by a prayer.
Activities Conducted
* Warm-up: Students began with high knees to energize the body.
* Standing Asanas: Tadasana, Trikonasana, Hastottanasana, and Side Bending were performed under the guidance of the yoga teacher.
* Sukshma Kriyas: Students enjoyed sitting exercises including neck, shoulder, and wrist rotations, Vajra Parvatasana, and Butterfly Pose.
The event concluded with Brahmari Pranayama and meditation for relaxation and focus.
Pledge & Conclusion
Everyone took a pledge to practice yoga daily and remain healthy and happy. The celebration helped students understand that yoga is not just an exercise but a way of life, promoting physical fitness, mental peace, and holistic well-being.

PRIDE OF BRIGHT
• Keya Garala of VI I participated in Swim Baroda 2026 and 4th Gujarat State Fin Swimming Championship 2026 held in May and also in Baroda Sports Leagues held in June 2026. She received gold, silver and bronze medals along with certificates in various events like Back Stroke, I.M, Free Style and Breast Stroke.
• Mantra Trivedi of class X G bagged trophies and medals for various events of Cube Competition organised by 8th Gujarat State Level Speed Cubing Competition organised by Vadodara Rubik's Cube Academy.
• Krisha Rana of class X G participated in Warrior Gujarat Open Roller Skating Championship 2026. She secured overall 2nd position and has bagged 2 silver and 1 bronze medals in 15-18 year age group QUAD Girls.

Inauguration of J R Shah Auditorium at J R Shah Memorial Building.
The inauguration of the J R Shah Auditorium marks a significant milestone for Bright Day School.
The auditorium was Inaugurated on 18th June 2026 by Chairman Shri Simit Shah and President Shri Saumil Shah of Bright Group of Schools, in the presence of the Shah Parivar, School Heads, and Teachers.
The program commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony. The Chairman and the President jointly lit the inaugural lamp to mark the auspicious beginning, followed by a prayer dance presented by the students.
The new auditorium is equipped to host cultural programs, academic events, seminars, and inter-school activities, further enriching the learning environment at Bright Day School.

A training session on the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in classrooms was recently conducted at Bright Day School, Cbse Vasna.It was conducted by Ms Saroj Yadav & Ms Nikita Modi to equip teachers with modern teaching strategies and digital tools. The session focused on how AI can support lesson planning, create engaging learning materials, personalize student learning, and streamline assessments. Teachers gained hands-on experience with various AI tools and explored practical ways to integrate them into daily classroom activities. 📚 Inclusive Education – Learning Knows No Bounds 🌟
Bright Day School, CBSE Unit, recently organized an enriching workshop for teachers on "Inclusive Education – Learning Knows No Bounds", conducted by Mr. Anikesh Roy.
The session focused on fostering an inclusive learning environment where every child, regardless of their abilities, learning styles, or backgrounds, feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Through engaging discussions, practical strategies, and real-life examples, teachers explored ways to make classrooms more accessible, equitable, and learner-centered.
The workshop served as a meaningful platform for educators to strengthen their understanding of inclusive practices and reaffirm their commitment to ensuring that learning truly knows no bounds.

Our school organized an insightful and engaging workshop on the topic Value Education and professional ethics conducted by Mr. Manish Kumar Purani. It focused how to implement values of life in the classroom through innovative and practical teaching approaches.
The session emphasized the integration of values through art-integrated learning and project-based learning, enabling teachers to make lessons more meaningful and experiential. Mr. Purani also highlighted the importance of addressing the hidden curriculum and demonstrated how values can be naturally embedded into everyday classroom practices.

Cyber Awareness Workshop for Teachers
Our school successfully conducted an in-house Cyber Awareness Workshop for teachers, facilitated by Ms. Pallavi Chauhan and Ms. Saroj. The session aimed at enhancing digital safety awareness and equipping educators with essential knowledge to navigate the online world responsibly.
The workshop covered important topics such as:
Types of online scams and common fraud techniques
Warning signs to identify scams at an early stage
Safe internet habits for everyday use
Steps to take if one becomes a victim of cyber fraud
Understanding scam mechanisms
Importance of creating and storing strong passwords securely
Correct methods of password protection
Awareness about the national cybercrime helpline number 1930
In addition, government-issued cyber safety videos and “Be Alert” awareness clips were shared with teachers to provide practical guidance on staying safe online and accessing authentic information.
The session was highly informative and empowered teachers to not only protect themselves but also guide students towards responsible digital behavior.
