At M.E.S English Medium School, we recently conducted a KPA (Key Performance Area) review for our teachers—an initiative focused on growth, reflection, and leadership.
The process began with teachers engaging in a self-SWOT analysis, encouraging honest reflection on their strengths, areas of improvement, opportunities, and challenges.
This was followed by a Google Form self-nomination, where teachers expressed their interest in taking up various responsibilities within the school—aligning roles with their passion and potential.
Each teacher was then called for a one-on-one interaction, where we had meaningful discussions, shared constructive feedback, and appreciated their strengths while guiding them on areas of improvement.
The goal was not just evaluation, but empowerment and development—creating a strong second line of leadership and nurturing a culture of ownership.
