*HAPPY FIBONACCI DAY!*

Today, November 23rd, is Fibonacci Day, honoring the Italian mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci! 🧮 The date 11/23 was chosen for its connection to the sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3 - the first four numbers in the Fibonacci sequence!

Fun fact: Fibonacci popularized the Hindu-Arabic numeral system in Europe through his book Liber Abaci (1202). But did you know? Indian Sanskrit grammarians knew this pattern way back! Pingala wrote about it in 200 BC, and Virahanka elaborated on it in the 6th Century: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8... 🌼

The Fibonacci sequence appears everywhere in nature - petals on flowers, pinecones, sunflowers, and nautilus shells! 🌻🐚 Its math applications are just as impressive!
