More Than a Rakhi ..A Bond of Love, Trust & Responsibility💙✨
Raksha Bandhan at The Kabir Prep Academy was not just a celebration; it was a beautiful opportunity for our young learners to understand the meaning and values behind the festival. ✨
Through a thoughtful drama portraying the story of Rani Karnavati and Emperor Humayun, our teachers brought history and tradition to life, helping children understand why Raksha Bandhan is celebrated and what the sacred thread truly represents.
Because festivals become more meaningful when children don't simply celebrate them—they understand the values behind them. 🌿
The celebration continued with our teachers tying rakhi to one another, symbolising love, respect, care, and the promise of standing by each other. 🤝
Our little performers added even more colour and joy with their beautiful dance performances, filling the celebration with energy and enthusiasm. 💃✨
At The Kabir Prep Academy, we believe that culture and education go hand in hand. When children experience traditions through stories, performances, participation, and meaningful conversations, they develop a deeper connection with their roots and the values that shape who they become.
Because a festival is not just a date on the calendar.
It is a lesson in love.
A reminder of responsibility.
And a celebration of the bonds that make us stronger.
🧵 May every Rakhi remind us to care, respect, protect, and stand by one another.
The Kabir Way – Rooted in Values. Ready for the Real World. 💙
