Mechanical Engineering-এর ক্ষেত্রে এই দুটো IIT-তে opening rank এই বছর 861 এবং 380. IIT Madras এ 543

হাওয়া ঘুরছে। নজর রাখো।

Office Timings

* Mazagon Dock Ltd., Mumbai, under Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India ~ আমাদের, মানে অফিসারদের main shift ছিল 8:30 am to 5 pm. মোট 8.5 hours.

* McDermott International ~ এখানে flexible timing. 8 am to 4:30 pm হোক বা 10 am to 6:30 pm, মোট সময় 8.5 hours.

* সাম্প্রতিক রাজ্য সরকারের নিয়ম অনুযায়ী office timing 10:15 am to 5:15 pm. মোট 7 hours.

এটা শুধুই অফিস টাইম হলে খুব কিছু বলার নেই, তবে যে জুনিয়র ইঞ্জিনিয়ার ৩ ঘন্টা ট্রেনে করে এসে শিয়ালদা স্টেশনে নেমে ৩/৪টে সাইটের কাজ সামলে অফিসে পৌঁছে ফাইলের কাজকর্ম করতেন, শুক্রবার বিকেলে হাই ভোল্টেজ অতি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মিটিং-এর পরে নিজের উদ্যোগে বলতেন, "ঠিক আছে আমি এই শনি-রবিবার কাজটা শেষ করে সোমবার রিপোর্ট করছি" তার/তাদের জন্য এই 'নিয়ম' এরপর ঠিক কিভাবে কাজ করবে সেটা অবশ্যই ভেবে দেখার।

Assistant Engineer/ Lecturer course এ ২৮শে জুন থেকে প্রতি রবিবার Subject Test থাকবে। সোমবার সকাল ১০টায় result.

Test Series এর নাম Sunday Suspense.

শুরু হচ্ছে Irrigation Engineering দিয়ে।
জুলাই মাস জুড়ে এরপর থাকবে

A personal note:

On International Women in Engineering Day, we celebrate the achievements of women who have contributed to engineering, science, technology, and nation-building despite historical barriers. A more diverse engineering workforce strengthens innovation, problem-solving, and economic progress.

At the same time, the recent decision to reserve 33% of new government jobs in West Bengal for women reflects a policy effort to increase female participation in public service and employment.

However, a progressive society must also acknowledge the concerns of many General/Unreserved male candidates who fear shrinking opportunities in an already highly competitive job market. Their anxieties are real and deserve respectful consideration rather than dismissal.

The challenge before policymakers is to expand opportunities for women without creating a sense of exclusion among others. Empathy, merit, fairness, and equal dignity for all citizens should remain at the heart of this conversation.

Final Words:
Progress is strongest when it brings people together, not when it puts one group against another.
