Grade 7A Assembly – Nagapanchami on 17th August 🕉️✨

The students of Grade 7A presented a meaningful assembly on Nagapanchami, centred around the message “Let us respect and protect nature and all living beings.” 🌱

The programme began with a prayer and welcome, followed by a photo pujan and a thought for the day. Students highlighted the cultural significance of Nagapanchami and shared scientific information on snake conservation, helping everyone understand the importance of protecting wildlife and maintaining harmony with nature.

A thought-provoking skit, “From Fear to Awareness,” beautifully conveyed the need to replace fear with knowledge and compassion. The students then took a Wildlife Protection Pledge, promising to respect and safeguard living beings. The assembly continued with a heart warming felicitation to the students, who displayed excellence at the inter school debate competition. Finally, the event sprang up birthday celebrations, and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks.

Class 4B presented a splendid, soulful and captivating morning assembly on the auspicious occasion of Nag Panchami. The assembly commenced with a sacred Photo and Idol Puja, followed by a melodious devotional song that created a serene and divine ambience. 🙏✨

Students shared intriguing facts and fascinating myths about snakes, making the session informative and thought-provoking. A meaningful and engaging skit beautifully conveyed the message of respecting wildlife. The graceful traditional dance added a vibrant cultural touch to the celebration. 💃🌿

Students also presented valuable information about poisonous snakes and safety awareness, encouraging everyone to respect and protect these remarkable creatures. The programme concluded with a joyful birthday celebration and a gracious Vote of Thanks.

*'Pledge to make India Addiction Free'
SGIS in collaboration with the Spiritual Organisation- 'Brahmakumaris', held mass pledge to fight against Alcohol, To***co & Drug Abuse. Young students raised voice to curb the curse that is making India hollow & weak. The representatives of Brahmakumaris from Kumbhoj, Ms Shilpa Bahenji administered the oath. Director Principal Mrs Sasmita Mohanty extended unstinted support to the noble cause.

CBSE Boarding: This year the Shravan Somvar and Nag Panchami fell on the exact same day, which created a rare and highly auspicious spiritual combination. This convergence magnifies the power of prayers dedicated to Lord Shiva and the serpent deities, offering immense benefits for spiritual growth. The students & Staff observed the dual ocassion with immense piousness. The sisters from Brahmakumari, Kumbhoj, Ms Shilpa Bahenji & Ms Sakshi Bahenji added essence to the ocassion.
