CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
Imphal, the 24th April, 2026

The Hon’ble President, all leaders, and members of the All India Thadou Students' Association (AITSA) deeply mourn the sad demise of Mr. SL Daniel, son of Mr. SL Paokhosei (Former Minister, Manipur), resident of Leimakhong, Manipur, who passed away at the age of 56 at AIIMS Delhi on 23rd April, 2026.

Late Mr. Daniel was a valued advisor and patron of TSA Delhi & NCR, whose guidance, encouragement, and generous support were deeply cherished by the student community. He made significant contributions toward the growth and welfare of the Association, always extending help whenever needed.

His family has also rendered commendable service to the Association. Ms. Alvina served as a reforming member of TSA Delhi & NCR in 2014, while Mr. Seilenmang served as former General Secretary of TSA Delhi & NCR.

In this hour of sorrow, the entire TSA fraternity stands in solidarity with the bereaved family, relatives, and loved ones. We pray that the Almighty grants them strength, comfort, and peace, and may the departed soul rest in eternal peace.

Hun-Thadou Cultural Festival, 2026 in Imphal on 7th April, 2026 (Tuesday).

*Public Invitation to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Manipur Residing Outside the State of Manipur*

Thadou Inpi Manipur (TIM), the apex body of the Thadou community, invites all Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Manipur (Imphal, etc.) now living outside the state to join a collective effort for recognition and protection of their rights.

Since the violence began on 3rd May, 2023, many families fled Manipur due to threats to life, property destruction, and lack of safety. While relief efforts mainly cover those displaced within the state, those who left entirely remain unrecognized and unsupported.

Many genuine IDPs from Imphal and other areas were never listed officially and have received no government relief, compensation, or rehabilitation. TIM previously submitted representations to the Government of India, Government of Manipur, and the Justice (Retd.) Gita Mittal Committee, but these concerns remain unaddressed.

TIM now invites affected individuals to unite and support filing an Interlocutory Application (IA) in the Supreme Court of India, seeking inclusion in relief, rehabilitation, and resettlement mechanisms.

This initiative is open to all from Manipur—regardless of tribe, community, religion, or background—who meet these criteria:
1. Genuinely displaced due to violence starting May, 2023
2. Not enrolled in any official IDP list maintained by the government of Manipur
3. Currently residing outside Manipur
4. Received no government relief or benefits so far

Interested persons/families may please contact to the undersigned on or before 15th March, 2026. This humanitarian effort ensures no genuine victim remains excluded from justice and support.

Together, let us ensure all displaced voices from Manipur are heard and their dignity upheld.

TSA-D&NCR mourns the sad demise of Pu Vungzagin Valte. Members paid their last respects in Delhi before his mortal remains departed for Manipur. President Francis L. Thadou and his team draped Thadou Saipikhup over his coffin in solemn tribute. May his soul rest in peace.
