Investiture Ceremony Held at SSRVM Senior Secondary School, Una
The Investiture Ceremony was organized with great enthusiasm and dignity at SSRVM Senior Secondary School, Una. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Una, Prithi Pal Singh, while the Guest of Honour was Regional Transport Officer Una, K. C. Thakur.
During the ceremony, the newly elected Student Council members, House Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects were honoured with badges and administered the oath to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication.
Addressing the students, Chief Guest Prithi Pal Singh said that leadership is not merely about attaining a position, but about fulfilling responsibilities. He motivated the students by stating that this is the right time for them to develop leadership qualities and contribute meaningfully towards society and nation-building.
Guest of Honour K. C. Thakur highlighted the importance of discipline, honesty, and team spirit among students.
Managing Director Sumesh Kumar Sharma, in his message, encouraged students to develop leadership qualities, become responsible citizens, and uphold the dignity of the school.
Principal Brij Bala Sharma congratulated the newly elected office bearers and said that such responsibilities help in developing self-confidence, leadership skills, and decision-making abilities among students.

βPolice Ki Pathshalaβ Sees Students Raise Questions on Life, Career, and Law
A βPolice Ki Pathshalaβ program was organized at SSRVM Senior Secondary School, Una. This inspiring and informative session was conducted by Superintendent of Police, Una, Sachin Hiremath. He enthusiastically interacted with the students and shared valuable insights on several social and personal issues.
During the program, detailed discussions were held on important topics such as drug de-addiction, traffic rules, cybercrime awareness, leadership skills, and personality development. The objective of the session was to motivate students to become responsible citizens, adopt a disciplined lifestyle, and develop positive thinking.
A highly engaging interactive session was also conducted, during which students asked several thought-provoking questions related to law, career guidance, overcoming failure, leadership skills, and personality development. The students raised queries regarding protection from cybercrime, strategies for HAS preparation, overcoming failure and self-doubt, dealing with stage fear, developing leadership qualities, and building an impressive personality for SSB and civil services interviews.
Superintendent of Police, Una, Sachin Hiremath, answered all the questions in a practical, motivating, and satisfactory manner. His address inspired the students to become disciplined, confident, aware, and socially responsible individuals.
Managing Director Sumesh Kumar Sharma appreciated the initiative and stated that such awareness programs play a significant role in the holistic development of students. He urged the students to stay away from drugs, follow traffic rules, remain alert against cybercrimes, and develop leadership qualities.

World Press Freedom Day Celebrated at SSRVM Una
On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, a special interactive session was organized at SSRVM Una with the objective of making students aware of the importance of free and responsible journalism.
The keynote speaker, Mr. Sachin Sangar, District Public Relations Officer, Una (Himachal Pradesh), addressed the students and highlighted the significance of this day. He explained the role of press freedom in a democracy and encouraged students to develop awareness and critical thinking.
In his address, he advised students to understand the βwhyβ of events through books, as the βhowβ becomes clear on its own. He also encouraged them to read The Story of My Experiments with Truth (Autobiography) and the Bhagavad Gita, along with developing the habit of reading newspapers regularly.
He motivated students to enhance their creative writing skills by sharing their work on the MyGov India portal. Additionally, he provided insights into career opportunities in the field of mass communication and the pathways to enter this profession.
The session was highly interactive. A student asked how he manages pressure while writing the truth. In response, he emphasized honesty, courage, and ethical values as the foundation of journalism. He also spoke about the importance of internal communication in maintaining balance in life.
The school Principal, Mrs. Brij Bala Sharma, appreciated the informative session and encouraged students to become aware and responsible citizens.
The Managing Director of the school, Mr. Sumesh Kumar Sharma, in his message highlighted the importance of freedom of expression and urged students to use media responsibly while upholding ethical values.
At the end of the program, the keynote speaker was felicitated with a memento by the school management.
