Celebrating 78 glorious years of heritage, learning and progress!

Uluberia College proudly celebrated its 78th Foundation Day on 16 August 2026 at the Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Auditorium. The occasion brought together members of the college family in a spirit of pride, gratitude and togetherness as we remembered the institution’s rich journey since its establishment in 1948.

Sharing a few memorable glimpses from this special celebration as we honour our legacy and look forward to many more years of academic excellence and service to society.

🇮🇳 Har Ghar Tiranga 🇮🇳

In the spirit of patriotism and as a prelude to the celebration of India’s Independence Day, Uluberia College organised “Har Ghar Tiranga ” on 14 August 2026 at the Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar Auditorium.

The programme brought the college community together in a vibrant celebration of freedom, unity and national pride. The cultural performances added colour and enthusiasm to the occasion while reminding us of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the values our Tricolour represents.

It was a meaningful beginning to the Independence Day celebrations—a moment to cherish our freedom, strengthen the spirit of togetherness and hold our national pride high. 🇮🇳

On 12th August, 2026, Uluberia College celebrated the Anti-Ragging Day, 2026. Spontaneous participation of a huge number of students alongwith enthusiastic faculty members made this event a grand success. Mandira Bid ( link Worker, Purulia Agragrami NGO) graced the event. We observed Oath taking ceremony, short lectures on adverse effects of ragging, respect to our Nation's policies. We are proud to be a part of Uluberia College family, where zero tolerence against ragging is maintained.
