With the help of PPT, he guided and encouraged students on appearing and preparing for competitive examinations like UPSC and MPSC. Department of Geography and Department of History of Smt CHM College, Ulhasanagar had organised a Special Lecture on "Heritage Walks: It's Planning and Ex*****on" by Sandeep Dahisarkar on 24th January, 2020. The lecture elaborated the meaning and types of heritage, how to plan heritage walks, norms of a good heritage walk and a good Guide or Resource Person. The theory was illustrated by the examples of Heritage Walk in Vile Parle (Mumbai) and Karauli (Rajasthan). About 60 students attended the lecture and also participated in Q and A session that followed. Organising and executing thematic walks has proved to be one of the self-earning opportunity for social science students.

Today, on the occasion of 'Geography Day", Dept of Geography, Smt CHM College, Ulhasnagar organised a special lecture presentation on "Environmental Significance of Mangroves and the Role of CSR" by Shri Laxmikant Deshpande, Sr Manager, Wetland Management and Sustainability, Godrej & Boyce Mfg Ltd. Mumbai. He elaborately discussed the role of CSR of the Godrej & Boyce in conserving the mangroves in Thane Creek. The lecture was very informative, thought-provoking and inspiring.
