On 2nd August 2024, we had the privilege of hosting a '𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥' for our esteemed teachers and staff, facilitated by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠, Assistant Professor at Unity College of Teachers Education, Dimapur.

𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠 provided profound insights into fostering a growth-oriented learning environment, empowering our educators to drive continuous improvement and excellence.

The Management of Little Angels’ English School, Ukhrul, conducted a Two-Days Teachers’ Orientation on the 14ᵗʰ and 17ᵗʰ of June, 2024. The primary focus of the orientation being on
establishing a "𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞".

𝟏. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠: This session focused on the distinction between competency-based approaches and traditional textbook teaching. It highlighted the importance of discipline, skills development, and preparing students for the Knowledge Society in the 21ˢᵗ century, with an emphasis on making every child a winner.

𝟐. 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 – 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫: This session explored the evolving role of teachers as mentors, emphasizing the importance of guidance and support in fostering student development.

𝟑. 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬: This segment addressed the need for inclusive learning environments and strategies for building positive relationships between teachers and students, promoting a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.

𝟒. 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐀𝐄𝐒 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞: This session focused on creating joyful classrooms and fostering positive relationships with students, parents and guardians, aiming to establish an anger-free learning environment.

𝟓. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The discussion underscored the necessity of teaching value education in schools. It examined how to equip students with essential life skills and attitudes to nurture responsible citizen.
