📍 Field Visit | Karthik Marine Industries, Pithrody, Udiyavara 🐟🌊

A day of learning, exploring and discovering public health beyond the classroom! 💙

Our BPH students visited Karthik Marine Industries on 29th August 2026, where Mr. Harsh*th, Manager, introduced them to the journey of fish products—from collection and processing to quality checking, storage, transportation and waste management.

The visit offered valuable insights into food safety, occupational health and environmental health, helping our students understand how public health principles are applied in a real-world industry. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect classroom learning with practical experience, making the visit truly enriching, meaningful and memorable. 📚🐟✨
