"🌐Words, Wisdom & संस्कृति: Hindi Pakhwada at APS Udhampur - A Grand Ode to Hindi Language "♾️
22 September 2026: Army Public School, Udhampur celebrated Hindi Pakhwada on 22 September 2026 with great enthusiasm and fervour. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Jyoti Badyal, Principal, APS Udhampur, along with Reena Sharma, Vice Principal; Amarjeet Singh, Administrative Officer; Pallavi Rajput, Coordinator, APS Junior Wing; Jyoti Chauhan, Coordinator, Pre-Primary School; and Basant Kumar Pathak, Head of the Hindi Department, by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers and students, reflecting their deep commitment towards the Hindi language. A vibrant✨ array of activities and cultural presentations was organised, including Ganesh Vandana, prayer song, word transformation, Picture–Idioms Competition, balancing game, group song, humorous and satirical poetry, ghazal, dance and music performances, and an orchestra presentation. These were complemented by poetry recitation and a Hindi-language quiz, adding colour and grandeur to the celebrations.
As a mark of appreciation⭐ for their outstanding performance in Hindi Essay Writing Competition, teachers - Prerna Manchanda, Sunita Shukla, and Nisha Rani were felicitated with awards.
The celebration 🎉was organised with the objective of fostering greater interest and appreciation for the Hindi language among everyone.
Dr. Jyoti Bedyal, Principal, APS Udhampur, expressed her happiness over the successful conduct of the Hindi Pakhwada celebrations. Addressing the gathering, she emphasised that while every language has its own significance, Hindi holds a special place as one of the important languages of our nation. She stressed the need to maintain linguistic accuracy and grammatical correctness in both spoken and written communication.
Basant Kumar Pathak, HoD Hindi Department has also expressed his gratitude to everyone who extended their direct or indirect support and contributed to making the Hindi Pakhwada celebrations a memorable 😇and meaningful occasion.
