Guru Purnima Celebration at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rishabhdev, Udaipur 🌸

Guru Purnima is a day to honour those who guide us on the path of knowledge and values. This year, the students of the Primary and Secondary Sections of *Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rishabhdev* Udaipur celebrated the occasion in a truly heartfelt way by worshipping their parents (Mata-Pita Pujan) with deep love, respect, and gratitude.

Through this sacred ceremony, students offered prayers, performed the traditional Pujan, and sought the blessings of their mothers and fathers, recognising them as their first Gurus and the strongest pillars of their lives. The celebration beautifully reflected the timeless Indian values of reverence, gratitude, and the Guru–Shishya tradition.

May we always remember that the greatest lessons of life begin at home, where parents become our first teachers, our first guides, and our first source of unconditional love.

🙏 Happy Guru Purnima!

A One-Day Summer Camp for parents was successfully organized in the school on 9th May evening with great enthusiasm, excitement, and active participation. The event commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by the Principal, marking the graceful inauguration of the program. This was followed by an oath-taking ceremony in which parents participated wholeheartedly with sincerity and commitment.
The program then moved into an energetic Zumba dance session, where parents enthusiastically joined in and enjoyed every moment. The vibrant atmosphere was filled with joy, energy, and positivity.
After the Zumba session, a variety of fun-filled games and engaging activities were conducted for the parents. These activities created moments of laughter, enjoyment, and togetherness, encouraging everyone to participate with great spirit.
The highlight and most heartwarming segment of the event was the grand ramp walk by the parents. Parents confidently walked the ramp with elegance, style, and enthusiasm, making the event lively and memorable. Their cheerful participation truly became the soul of the entire program.
To add more excitement and enjoyment, different stalls were also arranged for the parents. These stalls enhanced the charm of the summer camp and were appreciated by all participants.
Overall, the One-Day Summer Camp proved to be a grand success. The well-planned activities provided parents with a wonderful opportunity to relax, participate, and create unforgettable memories, while also strengthening the bond between the school and parents.
