IAPS School celebrated its Sports Day from 29th to 31st August with great enthusiasm and energy. This year’s event was dedicated as a tribute to Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player, and carried the theme of commitment to building a healthier, fitter, and more active India with excellence.

The three-day celebration began with the oath-taking ceremony, where students pledged to uphold sportsmanship and discipline. Various activities such as football, cricket, exercises, and other athletic events were conducted, showcasing the talent and competitive spirit of the students.

The Sports Day not only promoted physical fitness but also inspired students to follow the values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance, as lived by Major Dhyan Chand. It concluded with the message of striving for excellence in both sports and life.

Investiture Ceremony and Independence Day Celebration 2025

The IAPS School proudly celebrated the Combined Investiture Ceremony and Independence Day with great zeal and patriotic fervour on 15th August 2025. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the national flag, followed by the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and devotion.

The Investiture Ceremony marked the formal installation of the newly elected student council. The school principal, Dr. Rinika Roy, along with dignitaries, conferred badges and sashes to the leaders, entrusting them with responsibilities and motivating them to uphold the values of discipline, service, and integrity.

Cultural performances, patriotic songs, and speeches by students showcased the spirit of freedom and leadership. Principal Dr. Rinika Roy addressed the gathering, congratulating the council members and inspiring all to be responsible citizens and committed leaders. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets, leaving behind a memorable blend of patriotism and leadership.
