12 most nostalgic things which only a KV student can understand
1. Parroting out the morning prayer, without
understanding one bit of what was being
recited. Maybe the words “Daya kar daan vidya ka,
hamein paramatma dena” have now become so
much more beautiful and meaningful
2. Believing for most part of the school years
that SUPW meant Some Useful Periods Wasted
3. Pleading with teachers and converting all
Arrangement periods into a Games periods
4. Coming up with various reasons to the
class monitor for skipping the morning
assembly
5. After reaching class IX, making sure your
morning pledge was “conditional”. All Indians are my brothers and sisters except ...... and ...........
6. Forgetting to wear the white canvas shoes
on Wednesdays and getting punishment from
the “PT” Sir
7. Becoming your teachers best pal when the
“inspection” was on, giving out all the ‘right’
answers
8. Coming up with new variants of Yog
asanas during the Yoga Period
9. Distributing toffees on birthdays and
treating close friends with bread-pakoras or samosas at the canteen
10. Bursting fire-crackers in the boys toilets during Diwali time without getting caught
11. Celebrating the last working day of every month almost as a Holiday
12. Fighting it out for your Vidyalaya in
various inter-KV competitions and treating the trophy no less than Olympic Gold
The thing is, if you had studied at any
Kendriya Vidyalaya, you now realise how
important those years at school were in
making you reach where you are today. It is a no brainer, that with such low fees, amazing infrastructure, dedicated teachers and of course, diligent students, KVs offer the biggest Return on Investment in the education sector!

Schooldays,I believe,r the happiest in the whole
span of human existence.
Most of us would agree that d days spent in
school are/were certainly the bst days of our
lives.
Its in school tht we make our first frind,hav our
first crush,compete to excel,hope for places in the
sports teams,eating lunch boxes during
classes,and learn our first lessons abt life.
For dos whose school is now forever OVER. I still
can't get over it -I feel like I'll be going back next
year and seeing all the same people, but I won't
be one of them! I'm happy and sad about
graduating, I guess that's how most peeps
feel.Those who r in school think that when I will
grow up n go to college.But beliv me whn u wil b
in the col u will get bored with the narrow
mindedness of ur batchmates,politics,racing
against time.Really school days r the golden days
People called it SCHOOL we called it LIFE.
