Visited Kv1 today with Rajaram Bhandari ji. Happy to see the marvellous transformation in the facilities and look and feel. School now has a RO plant for drinking water for all children, tiled floor and walls, mega size screens for teaching, new workshop coin conference hall to seat 150, central lobby is now covered with a canopy and also translucent sheets on the sides for light. New furniture in library and classes. Spend an hour with class 12 students sharing our experience about career opportunities in various fields which they can explore. Lots of Thanks to Principal sir and Pranyaza soni ma’am for taking us through personally. Discussed many initiatives which we plan to start for school.

Happy tp share that I received the Award of Merit as a 5 star Exhibitor in the nature Division. The award is issues by Photographic Society of America and brings me one step closer to achieving the coveted MPSA distinction. 4 More steps to go

Visited KV1 last Tuesday. Had a chance to meet Alumni incharge Pranayaza Mam, Vice principal sir and Music teacher Sadashiv Gautam Sir. Just wanted to share that the dilapidated activity room is now finished and furnished and being used for creative activities. The central space has been covered with a fibre glass permanent curved roof - providing enough light but also protecting from the weather. The music room now has an extension built and an Yamaha Synthesiser, drums, Bongo, Congo, harmonium and other instruments in good condition were available for students to practice. Overall the entire premise was very clean and well maintained. Also met the Librarian sir and submitted 25 copies of exercise and reference book on Indian classical music - Raagmayee Geetanjali - written by me - to be kept in library and to be given to students who show interest in learning classical music.

Regret to inform that KV Alumni (1975 batch) Ms. InduBala Vaid (known to most of us as Indu Didi) expired on August 24, 2022. She was battling with Cancer (4th stage)
May her soul rest in peace.
