🎇 Diwali Celebration at the School 🎇
Today, Diwali was celebrated in the school with great enthusiasm and festivity. The program began with an Inter-House Rangoli Competition. In this competition, Raman House secured the first position, Tagore House stood second, and Ashoka House secured the third position.
After that, the program commenced with the Aarti of Goddess Lakshmi, performed jointly by all the teachers, visiting parents, and guests.
The chief guests and distinguished guests present at the event were — Mrs. Tara Ved, Mrs. Hemlata Dangi, Mrs. Bhavana Dangi, Mr. Pushkar Kharol, Mrs. Sonu Lohar, and Mrs. Khumani Lohar.
Following this, the tiny tots of the Pre-Primary section presented a Ramleela, beautifully depicting the life episodes of Lord Shri Ram. Afterward, the children performed a lovely and well-coordinated dance to the song “Happy Diwali.”
Next, a skit was performed, prepared and presented entirely by the Pre-Primary teachers. The skit portrayed how Diwali is celebrated and explained the true significance of this festival.
There was also an attractive dance performance based on the nine forms of the Goddess, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The students who performed were Nilakshi Vaishnav, Anisha Vaishnav, Divyanshi Yadav, Siddhi Rathore, Riddhi Rathore, and Lakshmi.
Students of the senior section presented a Kalbeliya dance, which mesmerized the audience and beautifully showcased the vibrant Rajasthani culture.
The anchoring was done excellently by Kundan Singh Rao and Kanishka Ved.
At the end of the program, Principal Mrs. Sonali Sharma extended her heartfelt Diwali wishes to all the students and said —
> “Diwali is not just a festival of lighting lamps, but a symbol of inner illumination that inspires us to walk on the path of truth, righteousness, and love.”
Finally, Team Universal conveyed heartfelt Diwali greetings to everyone.
