The Universal School Celebrates Halloween Day with Great Enthusiasm

Halloween Day was celebrated with great excitement at The Universal School. The children were seen dressed in colorful and spooky costumes, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere across the campus. Various fun activities and games were organized, and the creative costumes drew everyone’s attention. The event aimed to encourage creativity and boost confidence among the students.

Grandparents’ Day Celebrated with Grandeur at Kids Planet – Samore Bagh

Udaipur: Grandparents’ Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and heartfelt warmth at Kids Planet – Samore Bagh, a branch of The Universal School. The colorful performances by the children added a special charm to the event.

The chief guest of the program was Vijay Laxmi Galundia, CAIT Wing Director, JITO Women’s Wing, Past President of Rotary Meera, and the special guest was Dr. Rekha Soni, President of Rotary Meera, who appreciated the school’s efforts to promote family values. School directors Sandeep Singhatwadia and Monika Singhatwadia welcomed all the guests and grandparents.

Principal Ritu Bhatnagar shared that the event began with an adorable “Grandpa-Grandma Welcome” dance by the little children. This was followed by the performance “Dadi Amma Dadi Amma,” which received thunderous applause from the audience.
A highlight of the program was the voluntary performances by the grandparents themselves. Notable performances included those by Rajendra Kumar Chhajed, Shambhu Lata Sharma, and Vandana Menaria, which captivated the audience.

Cultural program coordinators Shipra Bhatnagar and Purnima Vaishnav shared that Ganpati Stuti (Soumya Samanta), Hanuman Chalisa (Vidhan Sahu), and the dance Radha Gori Gori (Keva Prajapat) created a devotional and joyful atmosphere.

Program director Shweta Linjara mentioned that special games were organized for grandparents.

In Super Jodi Game – 1, first place went to Babulal Ji – Babl Bai, second to Laxmi Narayan – Mrs. Yashoda Ji, and third to Javed Parvez – Mrs. Nuzhat Ji.

In Super Jodi Game – 2, first place went to Kedarnath Ji – Mrs. Vijay Sadich, second to Lalchand Ji – Mrs. Sita Ji Parihar, and third to Laxmi Narayan – Mrs. Tulsi Ji Sahu.

In the Pyramid Making Competition, Mrs. Vandana Menaria secured first place, Mrs. Premlata Sharma second, and Mrs. Gomati Soni third.

Vice-Principal Divya Ameta stated that Grandparents’ Day serves as a bridge to strengthen emotional bonds between children and elders.

The event was conducted by Bhavika Wadhwani and Purnima Vaishnav, and concluded with blessings, smiles, and memorable moments.

🎇 Diwali Celebration at the School 🎇

Today, Diwali was celebrated in the school with great enthusiasm and festivity. The program began with an Inter-House Rangoli Competition. In this competition, Raman House secured the first position, Tagore House stood second, and Ashoka House secured the third position.

After that, the program commenced with the Aarti of Goddess Lakshmi, performed jointly by all the teachers, visiting parents, and guests.

The chief guests and distinguished guests present at the event were — Mrs. Tara Ved, Mrs. Hemlata Dangi, Mrs. Bhavana Dangi, Mr. Pushkar Kharol, Mrs. Sonu Lohar, and Mrs. Khumani Lohar.

Following this, the tiny tots of the Pre-Primary section presented a Ramleela, beautifully depicting the life episodes of Lord Shri Ram. Afterward, the children performed a lovely and well-coordinated dance to the song “Happy Diwali.”

Next, a skit was performed, prepared and presented entirely by the Pre-Primary teachers. The skit portrayed how Diwali is celebrated and explained the true significance of this festival.

There was also an attractive dance performance based on the nine forms of the Goddess, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The students who performed were Nilakshi Vaishnav, Anisha Vaishnav, Divyanshi Yadav, Siddhi Rathore, Riddhi Rathore, and Lakshmi.

Students of the senior section presented a Kalbeliya dance, which mesmerized the audience and beautifully showcased the vibrant Rajasthani culture.

The anchoring was done excellently by Kundan Singh Rao and Kanishka Ved.

At the end of the program, Principal Mrs. Sonali Sharma extended her heartfelt Diwali wishes to all the students and said —

> “Diwali is not just a festival of lighting lamps, but a symbol of inner illumination that inspires us to walk on the path of truth, righteousness, and love.”

Finally, Team Universal conveyed heartfelt Diwali greetings to everyone.
