It’s not you it’s your brain!
It’s so frustrating when you spend ages learning something, and you seem to forget it straight away. The Ebbinghaus memory curve helps us understand why, and gives us a simple trick to fix the problem; spaced repetition!
You start forgetting as soon as you’ve learnt something, but if you go back to it often enough, you can remember it after a longer gap. If you don’t come back to it though, you will forget it again. It’s about giving your brain regular practice of finding the info.
Try it and see how it goes- let us know how you found it in the comments!
