An advanced surgical event was successfully conducted at Pacific Dental College and Hospital, showcasing excellence in interdisciplinary dental care. The highlight of the program was a complex orthognathic surgery case aimed at correcting jaw deformities while improving both function and facial aesthetics.

The surgery was performed by a distinguished team of experts from Bengaluru — Dr. Dipesh Rao, Dr. Kannan Balaraman, Dr. Zibran Khan, and Dr. Pritham Shetty — whose expertise, precision, and teamwork ensured the successful completion of the procedure.

The pre-surgical orthodontic alignment was meticulously carried out by Dr. Kamlesh Garg, creating ideal conditions for the surgical intervention and contributing significantly to the outcome.

The event was conducted under the able guidance of Conference Chairman Dr. Bhagavandas Rai, while Conference Secretary Dr. Himanshu Gupta played a vital role in the smooth coordination and management of the program.

🦷✨ World Oral Health Day 2026 Celebrations ✨🦷
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Pacific Dental College & Hospital, Udaipur, proudly celebrated World Oral Health Day on 20th March 2026 under the theme “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Life.”
📅 A week-long program (20th–27th March) was initiated to spread awareness about the importance of oral health.
🎨🎬✍️ Intra-college competitions including Poster Making, Reel Making, and Slogan Writing were organized, encouraging students to creatively highlight the significance of preventive dental care and its impact on overall well-being. Winners were awarded certificates in recognition of their creativity and participation.
🤝 On this occasion, faculty members and students took a professional pledge to actively promote oral health awareness. Additionally, oral health education was provided to patients visiting the hospital.
👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ The event was graced by Dr. A. Bhagvandas Rai (Principal), Dr. Kailash Asawa (HOD, Public Health Dentistry), and Dr. Ankita Rawal (Senior Lecturer), along with faculty members and students, whose presence made the event a great success.

*Glimpses of National Periodontist Day Celebration-2026 held at
Pacific Dental College and Hospital , Udaipur:
Postgraduates conducted a fun skit on importance of Oral hygiene aids showcasing their remarkable creative side.
For undergraduates and interns, various competitions including Mask painting, dental chair decor, meme Making, and "drill the clue" quiz competitions were held. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
Free toothpaste samples were distributed to patients and and oral hygiene demonstrations were done.
A fun activity was also conducted for the faculty members, who were appreciated with prizes for their valuable support.
The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony followed by refreshments for students and faculty.
