On the India’s 80th Independence Day, Cambridge wing at Delhi Public School Udaipur pays heartfelt tribute to the countless freedom fighters whose courage, sacrifice and patriotism secured the freedom we cherish today. Their lives stand as an eternal reminder that the freedom we enjoy is not a gift to be taken as a reward, but a sacred responsibility - to safeguard our national unity, territorial integrity and sovereignity.Our young learners dressed up to show how much our freedom fighters inspire them to become one;learners marched with lot of pride with their heads held high as Bharat Mata,Kesari Singh Barath,Bhagat Singh,Rani Laxmi bai,Gandhiji etc

We bow in profound respect to the great statesmen and nation-builders who inherited a nation scarred by Partition, yet chose the higher path of unity, reconstruction and progress,its their vision and fortitude which laid the foundations of the Bharat we proudly inhabit today.
Our Primary Years learner Aarav Jethani delivered the speech reflecting how we must value and respect this day which we got to breathe only because of the thousands of people who gave up their lives so that we could breathe and live with freedom!

Let us draw enduring inspiration from our freedom fighters and visionary leaders, and carry their spirit forward into the work of nation-building. Let our learners lead with clarity of purpose and moral courage. Let every citizen - in every village, town and city - contribute with sincerity towards building a strong, prosperous, self-reliant and truly Viksit Bharat for generations to come!

Patriotism, peace, and unity form the bedrock of a strong nation. True patriotism is an active commitment to a country’s well-being, driven by the desire to foster harmony, bridge divides among diverse groups, and sustain a peaceful society for future generations.
Our learners of Primary Years Three reflected this message in todays theme Bagless Day.
An array of events included special assembly ,patriotic speech, patriotic poems,walk of the freedom struggle movement leaders led by mother India ,Competition of the month included Kaleidoscope making,Rakhi or friendship band making,enactment of mythological characters,narrative script writing themed patriotism etc.The winners of the competitions for the month of July were felicitated with certificate to motivate the young learners.
The main highlight of the day was online interaction with Colonel Rohit Yadav is a distinguished retired Army officer of 21 Kumaon, who served the Indian Army with dedication and honour for 36 years. Throughout his illustrious career, he demonstrated exemplary leadership, courage, discipline, and unwavering commitment to duty. His service reflects the proud traditions and values of the Indian Army.
During his service he has served with the National Cadet Corp the NCC as well as with the Naval force being deputed on the prestigious aircraft carrier Indian Navy Ship the INS Virkramaditya.
Learners were acquainted with the essence of celebrating 80th Independance Day!

Today was a day of learning beyond the classroom! Our Early Years learners celebrated “India, My Pride” through a meaningful plantation activity. 🌿✨

With little hands planting saplings and big hearts nurturing nature, our young learners discovered the values of responsibility, teamwork, care for Mother Earth, and love for our nation. 🌍💚

They also received meaningful takeaways that inspired them to be responsible citizens and proud Indians. 🇮🇳🪖

A day filled with learning, creativity, patriotism and joyful hands-on experiences! 🌱❤️

As part of a two-day activity-based learning experience, learners in Primary Year 5 explored the thermal and electrical conductivity of different materials through practical, hands-on investigations. They tested and compared a range of materials, observed how they responded to heat and electricity, and recorded their findings. The activities enabled learners to develop a practical understanding that materials have different properties and varying levels of thermal and electrical conductivity. Through observation, experimentation, discussion, and reflection, learners strengthened their scientific enquiry, critical-thinking, and evidence-based reasoning skills.
