Great to see the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly discussing the operationalisation of Baljek Airport, hopefully by next year with 19-seater flights.
This would be a significant boost for music academies like ours, as Trinity College London requires an airport within 100 km of the examination centre. If Baljek becomes operational, conducting Trinity examinations right here in Tura would become much easier, without the hassle of travelling elsewhere.
A sincere thanks to the Government of Meghalaya, the Opposition, and all our elected representatives for taking interest in and supporting this important project. We look forward to seeing Baljek Airport become a reality soon!
