As directed by DSEL, Govt. of Meghalaya vide Notification No. DSEL/EL/GA/MISC/2/2023/145, Tura Town Bengalee HSS held its PTM on 15th July 2026. Half-Yearly Report Cards were distributed and academic performance, attendance and discipline were discussed. We thank all parents for their active participation.

Tura Town Bengalee Higher Secondary School celebrated the 165th Birth Anniversary of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore today, 11th May, 2026, at the School Auditorium.

The event included Rabindra Sangeet performances, dances, poem recitations and speeches based on the life and contributions of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore to literature, education and culture. Students took active part in the programme and displayed their talents with dedication and joy.

The auditorium was filled with a cultural spirit and deep respect for the Nobel Laureate poet.

Remembering Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore with deep respect and gratitude 🙏🙏🙏
