Workshop on Research Methodology & Proposal Writing
MBA Agribusiness Management & M.Sc Food Technology – NEHU Tura Campus

An enriching and insightful workshop was conducted today (16 dec 2025) for our postgraduate students, focusing on research methodology, topic selection, and effective proposal writing.

We were honoured by the presence of our Pro-Vice Chancellor, NEHU Tura Campus, Prof. Fameline K. Marak, as the Chief Guest, and deeply benefited from the expertise of our Resource Person, Prof. D. C. Kalita, Rural Development & Agricultural production, NEHU Tura Campus whose practical guidance helped students understand how to convert ideas into meaningful research work.

The session aimed to strengthen students’ confidence in research problem identification, structuring proposals and connecting academic work with real-world agribusiness and food technology challenges.

A productive day of learning, interaction, and inspiration!

It was a wonderful experience to host bright young minds (class IX) from three Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) in South Salmara Mankachar at our department. Engaging with these enthusiastic students and sharing insights about the importance and prospects of science education was truly inspiring. We were delighted to introduce them to the vital role of Agribusiness Management and Food Technology in shaping the future of agriculture and food systems.
