The initial foundation of SSIT - ISTE Students Chapter was laid in SSIT by Dr.K.B.Shivakumar, Placement Officer, SSIT. It was started in the year 2007 and the founding Chair-person of TA**RA was Mr.Vinay. Presently Mr.Jouhar.C,Lecturer,SSIT is the Faculty Advisor who is advising and guiding all TA**RA members.

SSIT-ISTE Students’ chapter is back with the WORKSHOP on *Internet Of Things* which is very much helpful in this era of automation.
Where IOT means connecting Anything, Anywhere with Anyone which is key factor for all the automations u are seeing in the present tech world. Here u learn the things from scratch.
Requirements are:
1) 4 members per team.
2) Two Laptops, 3) mobile charger (data cable) for nodemcu 4)mobile for internet *No pre requisites (no coding knowledge required)*
Takeaways
*Free course and softwares.*
Contest will be held at the end of workshop and *Top 3 students (winner of the event) will get a Free Internship* opportunity for one
month in Loginware pvt. Ltd of worth 15000.
Participation Certificate will be provided to all participants
