The 6th B.S. Abdur Rahman Throwball Tournament – 2026 was successfully organized by Al Hilal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thondi, and sponsored by Ameer Sulthan Academy Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thondi, on 7 July 2026 at 9:00 a.m. on the Ameer Sulthan School campus, Thondi.

The tournament was inaugurated by Mrs. A. R. Nilofer Ayesha, B.E., in the presence of Alhaj M. Abdul Rawoof Nisthar, M.A., B.Ed., Secretary, Al Hilal Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Correspondent, Ameer Sulthan Academy Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thondi, and Alhaj A. Segu Udhuman, Treasurer, Al Hilal Trust.

A total of seven schools participated in the tournament, showcasing remarkable sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit throughout the event.

The final match was contested between St. Norbert Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thiruvettriyur, and Velumanikam Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vaani.

After an exciting competition, Velumanikam Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vaani, emerged as the champions and lifted the Rolling Trophy, while St. Norbert Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thiruvettriyur, secured the runner-up trophy.

The management and organizers extend their heartfelt congratulations to the winners and their appreciation to all the participating schools for making the tournament a grand success.

Special thanks are also conveyed to all the referees and Physical Education Teachers (P.E. Ts) for their dedicated service and valuable contribution to the smooth conduct of the event.

Kamarajar's Birth Anniversary was celebrated as Educational Development Day at Alhilal Matriculation Higher Secondary School. On this occasion, various competitions were conducted and prizes were given to the winners. Speech competitions highlighting the life, achievements, and contributions of K. Kamarajar were organised. Students also presented various cultural programmes, which added colour to the celebration. teachers and students enthusiastically participated in the event, making it a grand success.

By the wonderful grace of the Almighty, we are glad to share a remarkable achievement of our students.

Our students, Ms. Lekashree (Class XII) and Ms. Momita (Class XI), have been honored with the prestigious Women Achiever Award, recommended by the District Collector’s office and presented by the Ramanathapuram District Sports Officer, Mr. Dinesh Kumar.

This recognition was awarded for their outstanding achievement in securing a championship in the Under-17 Badminton Doubles category at the Ramanathapuram District Level Tournament last year, which also earned them the opportunity to represent the district at the Tamil Nadu State Level tournament.

This achievement is a matter of immense pride for our students, parents, teachers, and the entire school community. We wholeheartedly congratulate our achievers and wish them continued success in all their future endeavours.
