These are the profiles where we have the maximum number of jobs in the SAP domain. SAP as a software or a price solution. So, SD is in huge demand. You can try anywhere it doesn’t matter. If you say, “I want to get a job as a VP” or “I want to get a job as a head,” then it’s a little difficult. But if you say, “I want to get a job as a senior project manager or technical project manager in SD,” working on SAP SD solution for clients, for example, or for the organization itself, then the chances are good.

But since you have exposure to different countries, which country is better in terms of pay scale? See, if you want to make money, go to the UAE. Let’s say if you get 5,000 euros, 5,000 is less on the European side. If you get 7,000 euros per month, for example, in Europe. The annual salary would be 84,000 euros, so the in-hand salary would be around 4,500 or 4,800 euros.

Ask about Portugal, and you did mention that we have IT opportunities there too. I’m pretty sure the market should be comparatively smaller than in other European countries, but of course, developers have gotten jobs there, and automation test engineers have received calls and gotten hired. In Spain, we have also had people get hired. But yes, these markets are smaller compared to Germany and the Netherlands. My husband has a .NET profile and has 17 years of experience, all in .NET. How about his opportunities in Portugal and the Netherlands?

Back-end development is in demand. The Netherlands will have more opportunities compared to Portugal. So, you’re saying that the BA profile is going to be considered now you have told me more about your husband. Let’s say your husband searches for a job in Europe. So, he can get hired directly without any kind of visa, and then you can join him as a dependent, and you can look for a job once you come here. That could be one approach. For example, this guy got multiple job offers. He got one in Qatar and one in Austria. This is how you write the CV, as you can see on my screen in your profile. So, if you are able to clearly justify your experience, show your results, and highlight the technology, then yes, you get the calls. See how short the CV is. When he got the job, around 1 or 2 years ago, I think he had 11 years of experience. He also came live.

You can check it out. He shared his journey on LinkedIn. These are the people who came live. Of course, there are very few people who come live. This is a Technical Project Manager who got into Amazon Ireland. This is a mechanical engineer working in Germany. But I was talking about Chetan. He's working in Qatar. These are the examples. You need to work on your CV, work on your Cover Letter, and apply for the jobs. As I said to the other person, see what kind of jobs are being posted and what the skill sets are.

Do I need to go for the Opportunity Card? 100% possible without OC, but you need patience. You need to give yourself 2 to 6 months to get hired. If you're okay with that, OC is not required. Most of the guys who got hired, around 50% of the people we supported, come from IT, especially profiles such as Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, and Selenium. I have 18 years of experience in IT, mostly at the Java microservices level. I've been to Europe, including the UK, Sweden, and Denmark. Those are the 3 countries I worked in. Before that, I worked in Canada and Hong Kong. For the past 8 to 9 years, I have mostly worked with Java microservices and AWS on the cloud. Previously, I worked with Java or plain Java applications, and now I work with REST APIs, Spring Boot, and microservices.

So, first of all, your profile is in huge demand. You can choose where you want to go, with no limitation. Of course, your efforts will matter in your job search, but your profile is in demand. You can target Europe, the Middle East, Singapore, or countries such as South Korea or Japan. You need to put effort into the search, but your chances are very good.
