👮‍♀️ *Girl Safety Awareness Program at Vignesh International School* 👮‍♀️
Our School proudly organised a special awareness program for our girl students of Grades 6 to 12, in association with the esteemed Singapenne Team.
We were honoured to have the following dignitaries with us:
🔹 Ms. R. Suganya – Sub-Inspector of Police, Singapenne Special Task Force
🔹 Ms. R. Deepa – Police Constable
🔹 Ms. M. Vigneshwari – Police Constable
🔹 Mr. Rajesh – Head Constable
The officers interacted warmly with our students, explaining the theme of Singapenne and guiding them on how to stay safe and alert in everyday life. They also spoke about the dangers of social media, safe and unsafe touch and encouraged the girls to be bold, confident and vigilant in the face of any challenges.
The program was graced by our Administrator and Principal. The Administrator addressed the gathering and motivated the students in building a safer and more confident generation of young girls. Thanks to the Singapenne team and the school management for organising this valuable and empowering initiative for our students.

🇮🇳 Celebrating 80 Years of Freedom! 🇮🇳

Today, Vignesh International School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of patriotism. The celebration was organised under the guidance of our honourable Chairman and admirable Administrator and graced by our dynamic Director and inspiring Principal. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem, filling everyone's hearts with pride and love for the country.

The celebration featured a variety of cultural performances showcasing the rich heritage and diversity of our nation.

Students from different classes presented patriotic songs that resonated with the spirit of freedom. Energetic dance performances highlighted the cultural unity of India, while thought-provoking speeches reminded us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. The Principal addressed the gathering, sharing insights on the lives of our freedom fighters and emphasizing the ideals of non-violence, courage and determination.

Parents were also invited and graced the occasion with their presence. They were happy with the performances of the children.

Teachers and students alike reflected on the significance of freedom and the responsibilities that come with it, emphasizing the values of justice, equality and fraternity as we move forward as a nation.

🏆 To recognize and encourage the talented participants, prizes were distributed to the participants of various competitions held as part of the celebrations, honoring their hard work and enthusiasm.

The entire school participated in the festivities with great zeal, and the atmosphere was charged with unity and national pride. The celebration ended on a high note with everyone pledging to contribute positively to the nation's growth and prosperity. It was a day of joy, reflection and renewed commitment to the ideals our country stands for. 🎉🇮🇳

📢 Educational Field Trip – Kallakurichi Cooperative Sugar Mill 🌾🏭

Students of Vignesh International School had an enriching and insightful visit to the Kallakurichi Cooperative Sugar Mill, where they explored the fascinating journey of sugarcane transforming into sugar!

Students learnt the Process of Sugar preparation from raw sugarcane, Processing techniques used in the mill, Crystallization and Centrifugation, a process of separating sugar crystals from liquid and Separation of Molasses, understanding this valuable by-product

This hands-on industrial visit gave our young learners a real-world understanding of food processing and manufacturing, bridging the gap between classroom concepts and practical application. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to witness science and technology in action!

🌾⚙️ Grade 8 Field Trip: Rice Mill Visit! 🌾

Our Grade 8 students had a fascinating experience visiting the Rice Mill, Veingikkal Tiruvannamalai gaining hands-on knowledge of the rice production process and witnessing firsthand the various stages involved in transforming raw paddy into refined rice.

They learned about rice refining, the process of removing impurities and improving quality and polishing, the technique that gives rice its smooth and shiny appearance.

Students also explored boiling, the step that enhances the texture and quality of rice and packing, the final stage where refined rice is packaged for distribution.

Observing the machinery and equipment used at each stage, the students gained a deeper understanding of the rice mill's operations.

We're thrilled to see our students develop a practical understanding of industrial processes! 🏭

Today, Vignesh International School organized a Dental Camp for students from KG to Grade 12, with a focus on promoting oral health and hygiene.

The camp was presided over by Dr. Santhosh, Director of Vignesh International School, along with Dr. Inbanesan and a dedicated team of medical students from Karpaga Vinayaka Institute of Dental Sciences, who conducted thorough dental check-ups.

Students benefited from the sessions by receiving individual dental assessments and learning essential oral care tips. The doctors shared valuable guidance on proper brushing techniques, cavity prevention and maintaining a confident, healthy smile

🌾✨ Grade 7 Field Trip: Agriculture College Visit! ✨🌾

Our Grade 7 students had an enriching experience visiting the Agriculture College in Moongilthuraipattu. During their visit, they explored the library, browsing through books and resources on agriculture and related fields, and got a hands-on look at the soil testing lab, learning about soil analysis and testing procedures.

Students also observed various insect specimens and understood their importance in agriculture, walked through the garden to see different crops and plants and explored the museum showcasing agricultural history, techniques and innovations.

They also had the opportunity to interact with the in-charge person, who spoke to them about various aspects of agriculture and its significance.

📚✨ A Memorable Visit to the District Library, Tiruvannamalai ✨📚

Grade VI Vignesh International school Students had a wonderful field trip to the District Library, Tiruvannamalai, where books came alive and learning went beyond the classroom!

Students explored a wide range of books, reading corners and reference sections, while also learning how a library functions behind the scenes and the importance of silence and respect in public spaces.

They also discovered how to get a library card for free access to thousands of books, got an exciting introduction to virtual learning through library portals and learned about the free internet facility available for academic research and safe browsing.

The visit truly ignited a love for reading and inspired many future bookworms, encouraging our young learners to become regular library users and responsible digital citizens. 📖

A big thank you to the District Central Librarian sir for the informative session and kudos to our school management for making this trip a success! 🙏
